This article will show you how to download Spotify songs to listen to them offline (offline). To download Spotify songs, create a playlist with the songs you want; mobile users can also download the album. Moreover, you can download Spotify music in MP3 format on your computer, but this is against the terms of use of Spotify and constitutes piracy.
Attention! Spotify is not officially working in Russia yet, but any attendant restrictions can be circumvented by reading this article.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: On a mobile device

Step 1. Make sure you are a Spotify premium user
You can only download songs for offline use with a Spotify Premium (Spotify Premium) subscription.
Also connect to a wireless network - you won't be able to download songs using mobile internet

Step 2. Launch the Spotify app
Click on the green icon with three black horizontal stripes. Your Spotify home page will open if you are already logged in.
If you are not already signed in to your Spotify account, click “Log in” and then enter your email address and password

Step 3. Tap Your Library
It's a tab in the lower right corner of the screen.

Step 4. Click Playlists
This tab is either at the top of the screen (iPhone) or in the middle of the page (Android). A list of your Spotify playlists will open.
- Alternatively, click Albums on this page.
- If you want to download all the songs in your library, click Songs and skip the next step.

Step 5. Select a playlist
On the Playlists page, click on the playlist with the songs you want to download.
If you've opened the Albums page, select an album

Step 6. Click on the gray slider next to "Download"

It's in the upper right corner of the screen. The slider turns green

- this means the songs are downloaded to the Spotify mobile app.
When the song is downloaded, a downward arrow icon appears to the right of the song

Step 7. Play Spotify music offline
If your device is not connected to the Internet, launch Spotify, tap the My Library tab, navigate to the location where the songs you want are stored, and then tap a song to listen to it.
Method 2 of 2: On the computer

Step 1. Make sure you are a Spotify premium user

In the "Playlists" section on the left pane of the window, click on the desired playlist.
You cannot download albums on the PC version of the Spotify app

Step 5. Play Spotify music offline
If your computer is not connected to the Internet, launch Spotify, click on the downloaded playlist, and then click on the play button to the left of the song to listen to it.
Advice
- Spotify premium users can download up to 3333 songs to each of the three devices, for a total of 9999 songs can be downloaded to computer, tablet and smartphone.
- In principle, there is no time limit for listening to songs offline, but we recommend that you connect to the Internet at least once every 30 days so that Spotify will update your libraries and software. If you do not do this, you may lose your account.
