Change app icons to improve the look of your home screen, especially if you don't like the original icons. This can be done on Android and iOS using third-party applications, and on Windows and mac OS X via the Properties menu.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Android

Step 1. Open Play Store
It contains applications that change application icons.

Step 2. Click "Search" and enter your search term
For example, enter "change icons" or "customize icons".

Step 3. Click on any application in the search results to view its functions
Good apps that change app icons are Icon Changer by Juyeong, CocoPPA by United Inc. and Icon Changer by Alvina Gomes.

Step 4. Click "Install" or "Buy"

Step 5. Follow the instructions on the screen to buy and install the app
Its icon will appear on the home screen or in the app drawer of the device.

Step 6. Run the installed application, and then follow the instructions on the screen to change the original icons
To do this, choose new icons, choose icon themes, or use your own pictures.
Method 2 of 4: iOS

Step 1. Open the App Store
It contains applications that change application icons.

Step 2. Click "Search" and enter your search term
For example, enter "change icons" or "customize icons".

Step 3. Click on any application in the search results to view its functions

Step 4. Click "Install" or "Buy"

Step 5. Enter your Apple ID and password and then click OK

Step 6. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the application
Its icon will appear in the device's app drawer.

Step 7. Run the installed application, and then follow the instructions on the screen to change the original icons
To do this, choose icon themes or use your own pictures.
Method 3 of 4: Windows

Step 1. Right-click on the icon you want to change on your computer
On a Windows mobile device, press and hold the desired icon.

Step 2. Click "Properties" and then go to the "Shortcut" tab

Step 3. Click Change Icon
A list of all available Windows icons will open.

Step 4. Select an icon from the list of available icons
Alternatively, you can click Browse and select an icon from your collection.
Your icon collection must include.ico files. Otherwise, use a free online file converter like Convertico.com or ICOConverter.com to convert your image to ICO format

Step 5. Click OK> OK to confirm the change
The app icon will change to the icon of your choice.
Method 4 of 4: macOS

Step 1. Make sure that the extension of the pictures or icons to be installed instead of the original ones is ".icns"
The ICNS format is great for macOS because it automatically resizes photos and icons to the correct size. For example, to set a family photo as the new app icon, convert it to ICNS format. In this case, you do not need to resize the photo.
You can convert an image to ICNS format using the free online converter CloudConvert.com or iConvertIcons.com

Step 2. Open the Applications folder and find the icon you want to change

Step 3. Right-click on the icon and select Properties from the menu
A window with the parameters of the selected program will open.

Step 4. Find a new icon to replace the original one

Step 5. Right-click on the new icon and select "Copy" from the menu

Step 6. Return to the "Properties" window and click on the original icon that appears in the upper left corner
The original icon will be highlighted.

Step 7. Press Command + V to insert a new icon instead of the original one
You may need to enter your administrator password first.

Step 8. Open the Applications folder and click Utilities

Step 9. Click "Terminal" and then enter the command "killall Dock"
It will update the icons displayed in the dock.

Step 10. Press "Enter" on your keyboard
The original program icon will change to a new one.
