In this article, we'll show you how to open the hidden service menu and setup menu on your LG TV.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Via the service menu

Step 1. Make sure you have an original remote control (hereinafter just a remote control)
You can open the service menu using third-party remotes, but the chances will increase if you use the original remote.

Step 2. Select a TV channel
Use the "INPUT" button on the remote to select "TV" as the input source, then switch to any TV channel.
If you do not do this, you will not be able to open the service menu

Step 3. Press MENU (Menu) on the remote control and the MENU on the TV cabinet.
Do this at the same time.
- On some remotes / TVs, instead of the "MENU" button, you need to press "SETTINGS" (Settings) or "HOME" (Home).
- On some remotes, you must press and hold the "OK" button.

Step 4. Release both buttons when the password entry line appears on the screen

Step 5. Enter the password for the TV
Try to enter 0000 first.

Step 6. Press the ENTER button
It is located in the center of the console.
You may need to click "OK"

Step 7. Try to enter a different password (if necessary)
If the password "0000" does not work, try one of the following codes:
- 0413
- 7777
- 8741
- 8743
- 8878

Step 8. Use the service menu
When the service menu opens, you can use it to change a number of parameters, such as USB settings, volume level and firmware version.
Take a screenshot or write down your current settings to restore them if something goes wrong
Method 2 of 2: Via the setup menu

Step 1. Make sure you have an original remote control (hereinafter just a remote control)
You can open the setup menu with third-party remotes, but the chances increase if you use the original remote.

Step 2. Select a TV channel
Use the "INPUT" button on the remote to select "TV" as the input source, then switch to any TV channel.
If you do not do this, you will not be able to open the installation menu

Step 3. Press and hold the MENU button on the remote control for 5-7 seconds
On some remotes, hold the SETTINGS or HOME button

Step 4. Release the button when the password entry line appears on the screen
Do it quickly; otherwise, another menu will open.

Step 5. Enter 1105
This code gives access to the setup menu on all LG TVs.

Step 6. Press the ENTER button
It is located in the center of the console.
You may need to click "OK"

Step 7. Use the setup menu
It can be used to enable USB mode and hotel mode (hotel mode), which affect the operation of the TV.
