There are kids who would like to be punks everywhere, all the time! Unfortunately, sometimes they can't be in school because they have to wear a uniform. While you can't fight the school charter and burn all the molds in the oven, you can maintain a punk-looking attitude with just a little extra effort on your part.
Steps

Step 1. Prepare your jacket
If you don't have a problem at school when you wear a hoodie / jacket, decorate it with some band patches, buttons, studs or spikes, and try painting some band logos on it, or paint slogans / logos over the entire jacket.

Step 2. Decorate your school bag
Buy a bag or black / navy backpack and add pins / badges with your favorite bands, mottos and symbols (any rebellious symbols will work, but some symbols may cause more resentment than you bargained for, such as Nazi or white supremacy symbols) on it … You can even add duct tape to your bag. You can also paint / sew things onto it to add some originality. Use a marker or corrector pen to scribble your own. You can even sew your own bag.

Step 3. Stay unique
Do not wear anything that is marked with a dress code. For example, if all you have to wear is a uniform shirt, then don't wear khaki pants. Instead, wear rocker belts (pyramids, bullets, spikes) with nice buckles over jeans or black pants.

Step 4. Paint your nails
Bold colors like black, blue or red, or even mix and match. Roll up your sleeves. As a finishing touch, wear a leather jacket or dark sweatshirt.

Step 5. Stick pins on everything
Place them on your hat, jeans, shirt, bag … everything.

Step 6. Watch your hair
Try to stay within the rules, but stay unique. Try a messy hairstyle, or a spiky hairstyle, or perhaps a fake mohawk. Test your boundaries.
If your school has its own rules and you can't dye your hair crazy colors, just dye the very ends so you can easily cut them off if you have a problem at school. You can also try temporary paint - it also helps if you're experimenting

Step 7. Ties
If you must wear a tie, leave the top button unbuttoned and let the tie hang loosely. Roll up your sleeves if you must wear a shirt. Also, if school doesn't require you to wear a specific tie, go to your nearest thrift store and pick out the ugliest or most satirical ties you can find. Also, if you want to be extreme, rip your tie, pull the strands out, just destroy it. Maybe even add some anarchy symbols.

Step 8. Pump up your socks
High knee, pink, green, Hello Kitty, whatever! Wear them. Don't tuck them under your pants! Also try making your boots punk. Draw, write, color and paint them in a different color!

Step 9. School symbols
Some schools put embroidery on jumpers, shirts or hats. If you are good at sewing or embroidery, try changing the symbol so that it says something completely different. These changes are usually hard to notice, but if people see them, the results will be amazing! Don't go too far with overly obscene messages, but these are all experimental results. If you are not good at sewing, use a permanent marker or some acrylic paint.

Step 10. Strict school?
Some schools have incredibly strict dress codes, we know. So look at the rules and interpret them. Buy yourself some black underwear if your school says you should wear black shoes. Only school colors and / or black and white for accessories are allowed (like hairpins and headbands?) … Make your own, preferably with a large anarchy symbol on it. Just interpret the rules.
Advice
- Punk is not only about clothes, but about music and attitude. If you ever feel pressured, remember your values and you will feel great.
- Don't be afraid to express yourself!
- Use patches from fabric stores that can be applied with a hot iron, and can be attached to trousers, skirts, shirts, etc.
- Add cool bracelets, necklaces, etc.
- Avoid country style buckles. Nothing kills a punk outfit more than Budweiser belt buckles.
- If your school requires you to wear a tie for mass gatherings, be sure to wear a narrow, retro tie, not your regular tie.
- If your school forbids dyeing your hair in unnatural colors, then simply dye the ends so that if you have problems with color, you can simply cut them off.
- One way to get around school colors is to spill materials like strawberry milk on yourself. Not only will your white shirt be all pink, but if the administration says anything about it, you can just tell them to sniff.
Warnings
- If you have a spare uniform, take care of it. You never know when you will be punished for your "inappropriate" clothing! You may need to buy a new one, so take care of a spare one.
- There is a fine line between high street punks and emo. Don't cross it. If you find yourself being called emo, buy some bright clothes. Pink, yellow and all neon are better than black anyway, because it is much more destructive.
- If you wear fingerless gloves to school, you will have to take them off during lunch. People in the cafeteria say it's "unhygienic", if you don't, you won't be able to eat.
- If your school has a uniform because it is a private school, other punks may interpret that as your fault. It's not your choice whether to wear a uniform or go to this school, is it?
- Some children will try to get you involved in drugs / nighttime accidents, so they should be avoided. You are still in school and these memories will affect you later.
- You may get in trouble for not adhering to school rules, but this is a risk that you must be willing to accept.
