In this article, you will learn how to hide behind cover in Grand Theft Auto V. The described methods can be applied to the classic third-person game and to the updated GTA 5 first-person game.
Steps

Step 1. Approach an object behind which you can take cover
These objects are:
- corners;
- boxes;
- cars;
- low walls.

Step 2. Come close to the shelter
The character must stand close to the object behind which he is going to take cover.

Step 3. Press the "Take cover" button
This button depends on the device you are playing Grand Theft Auto 5 on:
- a computer - press Q;
- Xbox - press RB;
