How to make a gate in Minecraft

In Minecraft, a gate (for example, a fence) is needed so that you can enter them. We will show you how to make a gate.

Method 1 of 3: Materials

Step 1. Find wooden planks

To do this, you need to put a block of wood on a workbench.

Step 2. Make sticks from the planks on the workbench

Place one board on top of the other.

Method 2 of 3: Crafting a gate

Step 1. Place one wooden plank in the center slot, and another one under it

Step 2. Place two sticks in the two slots to the left of the two boards

And put two more on the right.

Step 3. The gate is ready

Drag it to your inventory.

Method 3 of 3: How to put a gate on a fence

Step 1. Take the gate in your hand, go to the place where you want to put it

Step 2. Right-click on the fence

Step 3. To open the gate, right-click on it

Advice

• If you want chickens to be able to pass through a gate, for example, place the gate one block above the ground. Then the chickens will be able to pass under them, but the monsters will not.
• The gates cannot be opened by villagers or zombies.
• The gate can be placed on a stone wall.
• The gate must be on the block.
