Building large houses requires a lot of time and effort, the more difficult they are, the more material is used for them.

Method 1 of 1: Big House # 1
Step 1. Build a large foundation for a large house (approximately 20 x 30 blocks)
Mark this box with the material of your choice.
Step 2. Create a wall about 10 blocks high
Build all the walls of the house this way.
Step 3. Cover the house with a roof
There are two types of roofs:
- Flat, just joins the walls
- Pointed. Rise with each move to a higher level until both sides come together. Fill in the remaining space.
Step 4. Insert doors at all intervals to prevent mobs from entering your house
Double doors look prettier and therefore preferable, but are optional.
If you are playing on a difficult level, it is advisable to put iron doors so that zombies do not break into the house
Step 5. Place torches in the house for lighting
If you have built a portal to the Nether, you can use glowing stones.
Step 6. Place the torches outside the house to prevent the invasion of mobs
Again, you can use a glowstone or Jack lamp if you wish.
Step 7. Make 2x2 holes on the facade of the house
Fill them with glass to create windows. To get glass, melt sand in a furnace.
Or you can leave the windows without glass and shoot them at mobs
Step 8. Dig up a space in the floor and fill it with any cute blocks you like
Two ideas are brick and wool, but they are hard to come by, so pick something to your liking. With creative mode, wool is right at your fingertips, take advantage of this.
Step 9. Set up a work table, a large chest, two ovens and a bed
This will complete your home. If you wish, you can make chairs out of steps by placing a designation on each side of the step.

Advice
- Place a lot of lights around the house to see better.
- Try making a fireplace.
- Try to make a porch.
- Make a watchtower to aim at the bad guys. And then collect their things.
- Avoid using flammable materials due to lightning and rapid spread of fire.
- Try combining different types of logs, planks, stars, balconies and different rooms to make the building look like a real house, and not just a bunch of boulders.
- Level the ground on the potential home first, if necessary.
- We do not recommend leaving dirt in the house, it looks unprofessional.
- If desired, place a glowing stone, torches or Jack's lamps outside next to the door.
- If you have a furniture mod, use it to furnish your home.
- With scissors, you can extract leaves and make shrubs around your house.
- Don't make your home entirely out of cobblestone, just make it look pretty on the outside as well.
- Build a huge watchtower out of the cobblestones, from which you can shoot bad guys and collect their things.
- Make 6 x 6 holes at both ends of the roof and glaze them. Make two holes in the middle of the roof and insert glass into them.
- Better to use a glowing stone and Jack's lamp - they give more light. But they are difficult to acquire.
