Playing Minecraft? Tired of hunting for food? This article will show you how to create a farm in Minecraft.
Steps

Step 1. Decide on the size of your farm
It can be large or small. We recommend creating a farm with a size of 26 by 24 blocks.
Keep in mind that the larger the farm, the more resources you will need

Step 2. Select the area for the farm
- We recommend choosing a flat area (but this is optional).
- A farm can be created almost anywhere, but it's better to do this:
- Underground. But remember that the process of setting up a farm underground will take a long time.
- Outdoors. This is the easiest farm to build, but it needs to be protected from mobs.
- Inside the building. That is, the farm will be located inside some structure with a glass ceiling through which sunlight will pass. In this case, you will have to build a building for the farm, but it will be protected from mobs.
- If you don't have the resources to complete step 6, build a farm by the pool, dig water channels and connect them to the pool. This is an easy solution if you don't already have the iron to craft the bucket.

Step 3. Build a wall or fence around the farm to protect it from monsters
If you are building a wall, its height must be at least two blocks so that mobs do not jump over it

Step 4. Light the farm with torches
This will prevent mobs from getting close to her.
If you want, place light stones by the wall / fence and by the water channels

Step 5. Dig the water channels
They will be used for watering crops.
The water sprinkles four blocks in each direction, so place eight blocks between the channels

Step 6. Fill the canals with water
To do this, use a bucket.
If you don't have the resources to complete this step, build a farm by the pond, dig water channels and connect them to the pond. This is an easy solution if you don't already have the iron to craft the bucket

Step 7. Work the ground with a hoe
The crop will grow only on such land.

Step 8. Plant the seeds
Take them in your hand and right-click on the cultivated land.

Step 9. Wait for the harvest
Use bone meal to speed up the process.

Step 10. Harvest

Step 11. Plant the seeds again
When you harvest the grain, you will receive the seeds

Step 12. You have built a farm
Advice
- Water irrigates up to four blocks of cultivated land.
- Experiment with creating and managing your farm.
- Break up tall and short grass to get seeds.
- You can grow not only wheat. For example:
- Pumpkins and melons. Melons are a good food source, but they grow on two blocks at once.
- Carrots and potatoes; they can quickly satisfy hunger.
- Livestock.
- Sugarcane. It is used for crafting books (you need paper and leather), for making muffins (three buckets of milk, two lumps of sugar, three ears of wheat and one egg). To grow reeds, you need a water source (nearby pond); cane can also be planted on sloping ground (it grows on sand, red sand, earth or a block of grass)
