Is one important Pokémon missing from your Pokedex? Jirachi is one of the rarest Pokémon and despite being a Steel-type Pokémon, it weighs only 1kg! He is very useful for his psychic attacks. It is very difficult to get Jirachi, and in addition to a special event (which has already passed for a long time), you can get it in just a few ways. Follow the directions in this article to get your very own Jirachi and finally complete your Pokedex.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Bonus Pokémon Colosseum Disc (US Version)
Step 1. Build your group in Ruby or Sapphire version
To get Jirachi, you need one free seat in the group. When you get your party together, turn off the Game Boy.
Step 2. Connect the Game Boy Advance to the GameCube
To combine two consoles, you need to connect them with a special adapter.
Step 3. Launch the bonus disc
Insert the bonus Pokémon Colosseum disc into the GameCube and turn on the console. You will find yourself in the main menu of the bonus disc. Scroll right and select "Jirachi Special Gift".
Step 4. Wait for the translation
Once you select the Jirachi item from the menu, you will be told to connect the Game Boy. You will see several loading screens on both the GameCube and Game Boy. The translation will take about 30 minutes.
Step 5. Use your new Jirachi
When the translation is complete, Jirachi will be in your party and ready to go! You can use the Bonus Disc to add Jirachi to all Pokémon games, but you can only do this once per game. You can do this again if you start a new game.
When you get Jirachi, you can transfer it to newer versions of Pokémon games
Method 2 of 3: Using the Pokémon Channel (Europe and Asia version)
Step 1. Complete the Pokémon Channel game on the GameCube
To get Jirachi, you need to watch all the videos, after which you will receive the Starlight Projector. This will take you to Camp Starlight, where you can watch the Pichu Movie.
Step 2. Beat the game (Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald) on the Game Boy Advance
To get Jirachi, you need to defeat the Elite Four. Basically, this means passing the game.
Before you get Jirachi, you need to free one place in your group
Step 3. From the main Pokémon Channel menu, open the Options menu
You will see Professor Oak, and after him Jirachi will appear. After a short introductory video, click “Yes” to start the translation.
- You will be warned that you must defeat the Elite Four before transferring Jirachi. Click "Yes" again to continue.
- You will be asked if there is a place for Jirachi in your group. Click Yes if your group has 5 or fewer Pokémon.
Step 4. Connect the Game Boy Advance to the GameCube
To combine two consoles, you need to connect them with a special adapter. When they are connected, click "Yes".
Turn on the Game Boy when prompted
Step 5. Wait for the translation to complete
It only takes a few seconds. You will see an image of Jirachi on the Game Boy screen. Turn off the Game Boy when prompted.
Step 6. Use your new Jirachi
When the translation is complete, Jirachi will be in your party and ready to go! You can use the Bonus Disc to add Jirachi to all Pokémon games, but you can only do this once per game. You can do this again if you start a new game.
Once you get Jirachi, you can transfer it to newer versions of Pokémon games
Method 3 of 3: Using Pro Action Replay
Step 1. Add Jirachi code to Action Replay
Use your computer to enter the code into Action Replay. It will be much easier than typing on the onscreen keyboard. In a text editor, enter the following code:

Step 2. Clean up your group
Jirachi will be added to the second slot of your party, so clear it to avoid problems.
Step 3. Press L + R
This will create a fifth level Jirachi in your group. You can repeat this code as much as you like. Remember to clear your group every time.
