Evie is one of the most amazing and cutest creatures in the entire Pokemon universe. It can transform into eight unique forms, three of which are achieved through the use of elemental stones, and not the standard pumping of other evolutions. And although Eevee is present in the Pokemon Emerald game, unfortunately, he cannot be obtained by conventional methods. Instead, you will have to go in a roundabout way. There are only two ways to get Eevee in Emerald: through exchange and using cheat codes.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Through an exchange
Step 1. Launch the Pokemon FireRed or LeafGreen game
While Emerald doesn't have Eevee at all, FireRed and LeafGreen have ways to catch him. If you want to get Eevee in an honest way, you need to start one of these games and get at least to Celadon City.
But keep in mind that to unlock the trade, you need to collect at least 60 Pokémon and complete the side quest on the Sevaya Islands
Step 2. Find the Poké Ball with Eevee in the Pokémon Mansion
When you unlock the trade option, all you have to do is find Evie. Eevee can be found at the Pokémon Mansion in Celadon City. Travel to Celadon City and enter the mansion through the back door. Climb to the roof and enter the room. Inside you will find a Poké Ball with Eevee.
Step 3. Connect two Game Boy Advance consoles
To trade, you need two Game Boy Advance consoles, a cable to connect them, and the Emerald and FireRed or LeafGreen games. Before activating the Sharing Center, make sure to connect everything you need.
Ask a friend to lend you his Game Boy Advance. This saves you the hassle of purchasing a second console in order to exchange
Step 4. Go to the Exchange Center in the city of Vermillion
Having connected both devices, feel free to go to the city of Vermillion and enter the Exchange Center. Go to the counter and talk to an employee of the Center. She will give you access to the exchange panel.
Step 5. Make an exchange
Make sure the cable connects both consoles securely, then start swapping. The data will be removed from the LeafGreen / FireRed game and copied to Emerald.
Step 6. Make sure the exchange was successful
After the exchange is complete, it would be a good idea to take a look at the Emerald file and make sure everything is fine with it. If the exchange took place, you will see how little Evie smiles at you! If Evie is absent for some reason, it is possible that the exchange has not been completed. The likelihood that one game will erase it without copying it to another is extremely small, so try to repeat the exchange and you will succeed.
Method 2 of 2: Via cheats
Step 1. Buy and insert GameShark into your Gameboy Advance
GameShark is a code cracker for handheld games from Nintendo. The player enters codes into it to change data in a wide range of games. Although Eevee cannot be caught in Pokemon Emerald, he is still present in the game data. Entering the code through GameShark will allow you to get Eevee without having to bother with the exchange.
Step 2. Paste the code 83007CF6 0085 into GameShark
Typing the code for Eevee should work instantly. Launch GameShark and enter the code. As a result of these actions, changes will be made to the game data, and Evie will appear in your group.
Do not forget to use the master code (00006FA7000A 1006AF880007) if you have any difficulties with activating the code
Step 3. Make sure to get your hands on Evie
Now all you have to do is check your set of Pokémon. If Evie appears among the rest of your Pokémon, then the code worked. Otherwise, repeat your steps and use GameShark again.
