Pikachu is undeniably the most recognizable Pokemon to date, so it's no surprise that Pokemon Trainers are looking to add him to their team in Pokemon GO. Luckily for them, using one secret, Pokémon trainers can get Pikachu early on in the game!
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Capturing Pikachu as a Starter Pokémon

Step 1. Start a new game
If you've already started your journey as a Pokémon trainer, you'll have to start a new game for this method to work.

Step 2. Walk away from the three starting Pokémon
At the very beginning of the game, on a new account, you will have three starting Pokémon available for catching: Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Charmander. If you catch one of them, the other two will immediately disappear, as will your chance to start the game with Pikachu. Therefore, you need to get away from these Pokémon before they disappear from sight.

Step 3. Wait until they reappear, and then move away from them again
After moving a sufficient distance, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Charmander will reappear on your map. Stick to the plan and walk away from them again.

Step 4. Perform this maneuver three times and Pikachu will appear in front of you
If you refuse three starting Pokémon three times, Pikachu should appear next to you for the fourth time.

Step 5. Approach Pikachu to enter capture mode
Ignoring the other three Pokémon, walk up to Pikachu and click on him.

Step 6. Throw a Poké Ball at Pikachu to catch it
As a result, the other three Pokémon will disappear, and Pikachu will be the first Pokémon on your team. Isn't it a great start?
Method 2 of 2: Capturing a Wild Pikachu

Step 1. Start your search near power plants and science museums
Catching a wild Pikachu is difficult, but still possible. It can appear anywhere, but it is rumored to be often found near power plants and science museums, presumably due to its connection to electricity. If there is a power plant or any other source of electricity nearby, it is worth checking it out first.

Step 2. Wait until night comes
Some trainers note that they saw Pikachu around 3 am. Try staying late to improve your chances of encountering a wild Pikachu.

Step 3. Check the list of nearby Pokémon
If Pikachu appears next to you, his silhouette will appear on the sidebar in the lower right corner of the screen.
- The number of footprints indicates how far Pikachu is from you (three is far and one is close).
- Each footprint represents a radius of 50 meters. So, for example, if one footprint is marked under the silhouette of a Pokemon, then it is located 50-100 meters from you. If there are three tracks, then it is 150-200 meters away from you.

Step 4. First of all, check the rustling grass
If a silhouette of Pikachu appears in the list of nearby Pokémon, and grass rustles next to you on the map, you may be in luck. Go to the grass and hope for Pikachu to appear.

Step 5. Click on Pikachu to enter capture mode
It's time to catch him!

Step 6. Throw a Poké Ball at Pikachu to catch it
Throw the Poké Ball towards Pikachu to try to catch him. If you don't miss and Pikachu doesn't break out of the Poké Ball, he'll be yours!
Warnings
- Do not download files containing so-called "cheats" from the Internet. They may claim to contain all Pokémon, as well as all items and achievements, but in fact contain malware and ads.
- If, hoping to meet Pikachu, you go to the sources of electricity, remember the dangers and precautions to be taken in such places.
