Steps
Step 1. Get Ganondorf by completing Classic Mode on Hard Difficulty
You can play as Link or Zelda on normal difficulty, or go through 200 battles.
Step 2. Complete Classic Mode on Normal in under 20 minutes to earn Captain Falco
You can also go through 70 battles.
Step 3. Complete 100 battles or win 70 battles to unlock Falco
Step 4. Find Jiglipuff in a secret room in the swamp after completing Subspace Emissary
You can also open it by going through the classic mode with any character except Ike. Another way is to play 350 matches.
Step 5. Unlock Lucario by completing 1-5 target smashes with one character, completing Subspace Emissary as Meta Knight, or participating in 100 matchups
Step 6. Unlock Mister Game & Watch by completing the classic mode for each character or completing 250 fights
Step 7. Reflect 10 projectiles or play 5 battles and meet Ness in the "Subspace Emissary"
Finish this and open it.
Step 8. Play 160 matches or unlock 250 trophies to unlock R. O. B
Step 9. Complete Classic Mode on Hard Difficulty with any character to unlock Cartoon Link
You can also open it by taking part in 400 battles.
Step 10. To open the Wolf, do the following
At the level "Iseki" (The Ruins), do not go into the first door, which you will pass, going down into the pit. Instead, enter the second door at the bottom to unlock him along with Fox. Or complete 450 fights.
Step 11. Complete 15 encounters on Shadow Moses Island or complete 150 encounters to unlock Solid Snake
Step 12. Complete Subspace Emissary, complete classic mode as 10 different characters, or play 300 battles to unlock Sonic
Step 13. Complete Classic Mode without sequels or play 22 skirmishes to unlock Luigi
Step 14. Complete Classic Mode or play 10 skirmishes to unlock Martha
You can also open it by going through Subspace Emmisary.
