Learn how to purchase a PlayStation Plus subscription that lets you play PS3, PS Vita, and PS4 games online.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: On PS4
Step 1. Turn on your console
To do this, press the power button on the front of the console or the PS button on the connected controller.
You will have to turn on the controller anyway
Step 2. Select your profile and press X to log into PlayStation 4
Step 3. Select PlayStation Store and press X
The PlayStation Store is the first tab on the left of the Home screen.
Step 4. Enter your email address and password
This should be the credentials you use to log into your PSN account.
Step 5. Select Go online and press X
This will log you in to the PlayStation Network and take you to the store's home page.
Step 6. Select PS Plus and press X
It's a tab on the left side of the screen.
Step 7. Select the box "Activate FREE 2-day" and press X
If you've already checked out PlayStation Plus, please scroll down to the available subscription options. You will see three subscription options:
- Step 12 months - 3299 rubles.
- Step 3.months - 1399 rubles.
- Step 1.month - 529 rubles.
- You will also be given the opportunity to free 14 days trial subscriptions if you have not yet activated PlayStation Plus in your profile.
Step 8. Select the option that suits you and press X
After that, you will be taken to the confirmation page.
Step 9. Select Subscribe and press X
It's on the left side of the page, below the number that indicates the length of time your PlayStation Plus subscription will be active.
Step 10. Select Accept and Continue and press X
This will mean that you have read and accepted the terms of use on this page.
Step 11. Select Order and Checkout and press X
After that, you will be taken to the checkout page, but if a payment method is already connected to your account, you will be redirected to the checkout page.
Step 12. Add a payment method
Add a credit or debit card, PayPal account, or PSN payment card by selecting the appropriate option in this menu and clicking X.
If you have already chosen a payment method, proceed to the checkout stage
Step 13. Enter your billing information
If you selected a card, enter your card details and billing address, and if you selected a PayPal account, enter your email address and password.
Step 14. Select Confirm Purchase and press X
This will complete your PlayStation Plus subscription. You can now play games online and download discounted or free games from the PlayStation Store.
Method 2 of 3: On PS3
Step 1. Turn on the PlayStation 3
To do this, press the power button on the console or the PS on the connected controller.
Step 2. Select a profile and press X
This will take you to the PlayStation 3 Homepage.
Step 3. Scroll right to select PlayStation Network and press X
Some PS3 software versions call this option “PSN”.
Step 4. Select Go online and press X
It's the top option on the right side of the Home window, to the left of the Friends tab.
- If it says "Account Management" at the top of the window, select it, click X and skip the next three steps.
Step 5. Enter your email address and password
This should be the credentials you use to log into the PlayStation website.
Step 6. Select Go online and press X
You will then be logged into the PlayStation Network.
Step 7. Make sure Account Management is selected and press X
This is where the "Sign in" option was.
Step 8. Select PlayStation Plus under Account Management and press X
Step 9. Select the type of subscription and press X
You will see four types of subscriptions:
- Step 12 months - 3299 rubles.
- Step 3.months - 1399 rubles.
- Step 1.month - 529 rubles.
- You will also be given the opportunity to free 14 days trial subscriptions if you have not yet activated PlayStation Plus in your profile.
Step 10. Select the option that suits you and press X

Method 3 of 3: On a computer
Step 1. Go to the PlayStation Store website
It is located at https://store.playstation.com/. An online subscription to PlayStation Plus, like Xbox LIVE, can be obtained from the publisher's website.
Step 2. Click on PlayStationPlus
You will see this tab at the top of the page.
Step 3. Click on Games of the Month on the left side of the page, under the "Useful Links" section
Step 4. Click on subscription
On this page, you will see up to four types of subscriptions:
- Step 12 months - 3299 rubles.
- Step 3.months - 1399 rubles.
- Step 3.months - 529 rubles.
- You will also be given the opportunity to free 14 days trial subscriptions if you have not yet activated PlayStation Plus in your profile.
Step 5. Click on Add to cart on the left side of the page, under the number of months
Step 6. Enter your PSN email address and password in the Login ID and Password fields
Step 7. Click Sign in to go to the checkout page
Step 8. Select a payment method
You can pay for your online subscription in two ways: by credit / debit card or PayPal account.
Step 9. Enter billing information such as card name, card number and expiration date
For PayPal, you need to enter your account details (email address and password)
Step 10. Click on Save at the bottom of the page
Step 11. Click Confirm Purchase
This button is on the right side of the page. This will complete the purchase of the selected PlayStation Plus subscription and apply it to your account.
