Learn how to cancel your PlayStation Plus membership at the end of your paid term. This can be done on the PlayStation website and in the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 settings.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: PlayStation Site
Step 1. Go to the PlayStation Store website
Go to https://store.playstation.com/ in a browser.
Step 2. Log in
Click Login in the upper right corner, enter your email address and password, and then click Login.
If you are already signed in to your PlayStation account, skip this step
Step 3. Click on the account icon
It looks like an emoticon (or your icon if you've installed it) and is in the upper right corner. You will be taken to your account page.
Step 4. Go to the Media tab
It's at the top of the page.
Step 5. Click Games
You will find this option in the left pane.
Step 6. Select a PlayStation Plus subscription
To do this, find and click on it. If you don't see a subscription, scroll down the page.
Step 7. Click on the PLAYSTATION ™ PLUS Subscription section
It will be deployed.
Step 8. Click Turn off automatic renewal
You will find this option in the expanded section.
Step 9. Click OK
The PlayStation Plus subscription will be canceled when the paid term has passed.
You will not receive compensation for canceled PlayStation Plus memberships
Method 2 of 3: PlayStation 4
Step 1. Turn on your console
To do this, press the power button on the front of the console, or press the PS button on the connected controller.
In any case, turn on the controller
Step 2. Select your profile and press X
This will log you into PlayStation 4.
Step 3. Scroll up
The toolbar will open.
Step 4. Scroll right, select Settings and press X.
You will find this option on the right side of the tab bar.
Step 5. Select Account Management and press X.
You will find this option at the top of the page.
Step 6. Select Login and press X.
This is the first option on the menu.
If the first menu option is Account Information, select it, press X, and then skip the next three steps
Step 7. Enter your email address and password
These are the credentials with which you log into the PlayStation website.
Step 8. Select Login and press X.
You are logged into the PlayStation Network service.
Step 9. Select Account Information and press X.
You will find this option at the top of the page.
Step 10. Select PlayStation Subscriptions and press X.
You will find this option at the bottom of the screen.
Step 11. Select a PlayStation Plus subscription and press X
Select a PlayStation Plus subscription, next to which the time period is displayed (for example, "3 months").
Step 12. Select Turn off automatic renewal and press X.
You will find this option at the bottom of the screen.
Step 13. Press X
The PlayStation Plus subscription will be canceled when the paid term has passed.
You will not receive compensation for canceled PlayStation Plus memberships
Method 3 of 3: PlayStation 3
Step 1. Turn on the PlayStation 3
Press the power button on the console or the PS button on the connected controller.
Step 2. Select a profile and press X
You will be taken to your PlayStation 3 page.
Step 3. Scroll right, select PlayStation Networkand then press X.
This option may be called “PSN” depending on the software version of your console.
Step 4. Select Login and press X.
You will find this option in the upper right corner (to the left of Friends).
If you see the Manage Account option instead of this option, select it, press X, and skip the next three steps
Step 5. Enter your email address and password
These are the credentials with which you log into the PlayStation website.
Step 6. Select Login and press X.
You are logged into the PlayStation Network service.
Step 7. Check the box next to Account Management and press X.
This option will appear instead of the "Login" option.
Step 8. Select Transaction Management and press X.
You will find this option at the bottom of the list of options.
Step 9. Select Service List and press X.
You will find this option at the bottom of the "Transaction Management" list.
Step 10. Select PlayStation Plus and press X.
If you don't see this option, scroll down the list.
Step 11. Select a PlayStation Plus subscription and press X
Select a PlayStation Plus subscription, next to which the time period is displayed (for example, "3 months").
Step 12. Select Turn off automatic renewal and press X.
You will find this option at the bottom of the screen.
Step 13. Press X
The PlayStation Plus subscription will be canceled when the paid term has passed.
