Finding friends in Clash of Clans is much more difficult than it might seem. You can, for example, use Facebook to connect with any of your friends who also play Clash of Clans. To find your friends in Clash of Clans on iOS devices, use the GameCenter app. If you want to attack your friend's clan, you have to crank everything very quickly, otherwise nothing will work.

Method 1 of 2: Add Friends to Your Clan
Step 1. Add friends via Facebook or Game Center on iOS
As of today, these two methods are the only available ways to add friends to the clan. In Clash of Clans, you cannot search for people by nickname, and this feature is unlikely to ever appear..

Step 2. Link Clash of Clans to your Facebook account
This way you can easily find those Facebook friends whose accounts are also linked to a Clash of Clans account.
- Launch Clash of Clans and click on the Trophy button.
- Open the Friends tab and click on "Login with Facebook".
- Confirm your desire to link the accounts in the Facebook app or in the window that opens. Log in to Facebook with your account if you haven't already.
Step 3. Add friends to GameCenter to see them in Clash of Clans (iOS only)
If you play Clash of Clans on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, search for your friends in GameCenter. To add someone to your GameCenter friends list, you need to know their GameCenter nickname or email address.
- Open the GameCenter app on your iOS device.
- Open the Friends tab. It is located at the bottom of the screen.
- Click the "+" button in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Find friends by entering their GameCenter nicknames or Apple ID email addresses.
Step 4. Invite people from your Clash of Clans friends list to the clan
After you link your Facebook and GameCenter accounts, invite your friends to the clan.
- Click the Trophy button in Clash of Clans and then open the Friends tab.
- Select the friend you want to invite. The list will only include those who, like you, have linked Clash of Clans to Facebook or GameCenter.
- Click "Invite" to send an invitation to join the clan. This is only possible if this person is not yet a member of the clan.
Step 5. Find people by running a clan search
If you need to find other users, search for their clan tag if you know it. But if this person is already in the clan, you will not be able to invite him to yours.
- Press the "i" button at the top of the screen.
- Click the "Join a Clan" tab.
- Enter a clan tag that begins with a "#" character. For example: "# P8URPQLV".
Method 2 of 2: Attack your friend's clan
Step 1. Don't try to do this at low levels
It only depends on luck whether you hit your friend or not. The higher the level you have, the more chances that you will get lucky. This is because there are far fewer contractions at high levels than at low levels. If you want to engage in a fight with an allied clan, then you will most likely have to wait until both of you reach a high level.

Step 2. Make sure you have approximately the same level of the Town Hall
If you are trying to fight a friend's clan, make sure that the levels of the Town Halls in both clans are comparable to each other.
- For example, if clan A has four Town Halls of the 10th level and three Town Halls of the 9th level. Clan B may have four Level 10 Town Halls and five Level 9 Town Halls.
- You will do better if both clans have the same number of Town Halls of the same level. Both clans must have at least the same number of top-level Town Halls.
Step 3. Cooperate with the leader of the second clan to start a war at the same time
Both clan leaders must press the "Start War" button almost simultaneously. This will increase the chances that your clans will attack each other. You may need to coordinate the entire process over the phone or chat in order to press buttons at the same time.
Step 4. If it didn't work the first time, try again
The success of your entire enterprise will depend on your timing and luck, so the first try may not work. Just try again when the clan is ready for war again.
