Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is one of the classic games in the GTA series that runs on multiple platforms. In the game, you can create a gang and recruit new members to it, who can help with missions and participate in skirmishes with your enemies. Creation of a gang in GTA: SA is very simple. Once you've earned enough respect, you can easily create your own gang.
Steps
Part 1 of 4: Earn Respect

Step 1. In the course of the game, you gain and lose respect and it is not so easy to gain it
There are a number of factors that affect your overall level of respect. Here is a list of these factors:
- Current Respect: 40%
- Mission Completion: 36%
- Conquered territory: 6%
- Total money: 6%
- Muscle: 4%
- Relationships with girls: 4%
- Appearance: 4%

Step 2. Current Respect contributes 40% to your overall Respect
The level of current respect depends on your specific actions (it can either increase or decrease). The following are actions that can increase or decrease your current Respect.
- Dealer Kill: +0, 005%
- Killing a member of a rival gang: +0.5%
- Murder of a Grove Street Gang Member: -0.005%
- Death of a member of your gang: -2%
- Conquest of territory: + 30%
- Loss of territory: -3%

Step 3. Improve your overall respect to be able to recruit new gang members
The overall level of respect grows as you complete missions, earn money, complete training, and get new clothes. With an increase in the overall level of respect, you will be able to attract more new members to the gang.
- 1%: 2 gang members
- 10%: 3 gang members
- 20%: 4 gang members
- 40%: 5 gang members
- 60%: 6 gang members
- 80%: 7 gang members
Part 2 of 4: Recruit new members to the gang
Step 1. Find the Grove Street gang members
This can be done in the starting zone or in territories controlled by this gang. Members of this gang wear green clothes. Step 2. Aim your gun at the Grove Street gang member you want to recruit into your gang.
- Computer: right-click
- PS2: press R1
- Xbox: Press RT
Step 3. Press "Hire" to recruit the Grove Street gang member you are targeting to your gang
Remember that the number of your gang members depends on your current general respect level.
- Computer: Press G. If that didn't work, open the game settings and look at the controls settings (you may have changed them).
- PS2: click ↑
- Xbox: press ↑
Part 3 of 4: Give Commands

Step 1. Any member of your gang will try to get into your car if you drive past it
So get a four-seater car to get the best possible firepower. Passing members of rival gangs, your gang members will automatically open fire on them.
If your gang has more than three members (excluding you), you will be able to transport them on the bus, but they will not shoot from windows at the same time

Step 2. Your gang members will follow you, although they move slower than you
Your gang members will automatically open fire on whoever attacks you, or on members of rival gangs and police officers. If you are in a rush, make sure your gang members keep up with you.

Step 3. You can order your gang members to report to where you are
- Computer: Press G
- PS2: click ↑
- Xbox: press ↑

Step 4. If you want your gang members to stay in place or follow you without any shooting, give them the appropriate command
- Computer: Press H (do not aim at anyone).
- PS2: press ↓
- Xbox: press ↓

Step 5. If you do not want your gang members to follow you, press and hold a certain button for a few seconds
- Computer: Press and hold H
- PS2: press and hold ↓
- Xbox: press and hold ↓
Part 4 of 4: Capture Territories

Step 1. Complete the Doberman mission for Sweet
This mission will unlock the Gang Wars feature and allow you to conquer and defend territories from rival gangs.

Step 2. By capturing territory, you earn money and participate in shootouts
It is safe to move around the territory you control, as members of rival gangs will be replaced by members of your gang. Look at the map - neighborhoods controlled by rival gangs will be marked in different colors. The more saturated (darker) the color, the more members of the rival gang in the given territory (and vice versa).
- Purple - the Ballas gang
- Yellow - Los Santos Vagos gang

Step 3. Collect as many Grove Street gang recruits as your respect level allows
They are not the best fighters, but they will distract the fire on themselves.

Step 4. Kill three members of a rival gang on its territory
This initiates the Turf Battle. Finding three members of a rival gang is very easy in areas marked on the map with a rich (dark) color, and difficult in areas marked on the map with light colors. Do this: stand in the light-colored area and shoot at the enemies in the next dark-colored block.

Step 5. Once you start the "battle for territory", you will notice that the corresponding quarter is flashing on the map
Members of a rival gang will attack you three times (with increasing firepower). To conquer territory, you must repel all three attacks.
Find a point from which it will be easy for you to follow the surrounding streets. It will also help you avoid being surrounded

Step 6. Do not conquer territories at the very beginning of the game
You will not be able to fight gangs and you will simply lose everything that you got. Only fight gangs when they attack you or if you really need money.
