So you've decided to completely uninstall the Nintendogs + Cats game. Maybe you've made a mistake, got too many dogs, or just want to start over. Steps
Step 1. Launch the Nintendogs + Cats game
You must first turn on your console and launch Nintendogs + Cats.
Step 2. Press and hold the A, B, X and Y buttons
While loading the game, you must press these four buttons at the same time. This will open a window where you can delete the save file and start the game over. Remember to press the buttons before the splash screen appears.
- Press the A, B, X and Y buttons as soon as the "Nintendogs + Cats" logo appears. It will be a white loading screen with a small dog icon in the lower left corner of the screen.
- If this combination of buttons did not work, try adding the L and R buttons to them as well. That is, you will have to press the A, B, X, Y, L and R buttons at the same time.
Step 3. Click “Yes” to delete the save file
After that, you should be prompted to confirm the deletion. Be prepared to lose all your progress in the game, including all dogs, cats and items. You won't be able to get your save back after you delete it.
Step 4. Start over
When you click on the "Yes" button, you will permanently delete the old save in "Nintendogs + Cats". Launch the game again and start over!
