Method 4 of 4: The Old Fashioned Way
Step 1. Use the settings to set what your Sims like to live long
This can be done by disabling the aging feature in the game, or by setting the maximum possible age range.
Step 2. Get as many young family members as possible in the same home
They can work all day to make your family rich. If you add them to your home through the creation procedure, you should decide in advance with whom they will work (we advise you to choose business and medicine), and then try to bestow them with qualities that will help them in your chosen profession.
Step 3. Live as modestly as possible
If you like buying houses already built for Sims, use the freerealestate cheat by holding down the CTR + SHIFT + C key combination and specifying freerealestate on the command line. You will see a message on the screen suggesting that you move your Sim into the building. If you prefer to build houses on plots, after purchasing the plot, wait until everything you need for survival and career, but nothing more. You can start with what is shown in the photo below. Step 4. Get your Sims to work
It's not that hard, as there are always open positions in The Sims 3 in your chosen profession. If you cannot find a job online or in the newspaper, go to the job site to find a job.
Step 5. Work, work and work again
This may seem obvious to you, but it's worth talking a little more about it. If your Sims only work during the day and don't do career-boosting activities in the evenings, you won't be able to get very far. Yes, you will make some progress, but it will just take a lot of time and hard work. You can speed up the process by acquiring certain skills necessary for the job or making useful contacts for moving up the career ladder. In practice, this means that they have to constantly work, especially those sims that you do not plan to develop further (read about this below).
Step 6. After you get rich enough, you can decide which 1-2 Sims you like the most, and you can get rid of the rest
You can get them to move completely free of charge by selecting one of your unloved Sims and applying the Move Out option to him via your phone. You can make the rest of the unloved Sims move with him by clicking on the "Kick out" option and completing the solution by clicking on the checkmark.
Step 7. Enjoy your posh homestead
We advise you to move out of your current place of residence and move to the castle. Then you can enjoy the wealth you earned by honest labor.

- To cut costs, you can:
- Eat fast food
- Begging for money from other people by creating a begging Sim who befriends another Sim a bit and lets you click on the begging option. It works especially well with friends and family.
- Repair your household utensils. Do not try to fix electrical appliances at first. At the same time, contrary to the beliefs of some players, it is absolutely safe to repair non-electrical appliances. There is, of course, a very small chance that the item will not work. But the bonus will be the skill "Craft", which you thus acquire.
- Deny your Sims luxury. Deny them their desires related to socialization, and if you really need to buy something, get the cheapest option.
- Earn money side-by-side. But do it as quickly as possible so your Sim can get back to work right away. You can earn by collecting and selling stone, butterflies, and so on.
- Try to cut costs on things you don't need.
Warnings
- The testingcheatsenabled true cheat only works on the PC version of The Sims 3.
- You may get bored with the "traditional way of making money." To prevent this from happening, try to go towards your goals and celebrate victories and achievements.
