Broadband is the ability to connect to the Internet at a high speed. Broadband has become a necessity both at home and at work. To connect such a connection, you need to install a broadband system. To do this, you need to understand a few basic steps.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Preparation

Step 1. First, sign a broadband contract
These services are provided by telecommunications companies. For more information on which broadband services you can use, contact your local Internet or telecommunications company.

Step 2. Check your broadband package
After signing the contract, you will be provided with a broadband package that contains the following:
- Internet modem or router with power adapter
- 1 internet cable
- 1 telephone cable
- Phone filters
- 1 ADSL splitter
- This is all that is required to set up a broadband Internet connection, the connection of which is described below.
Part 2 of 2: Setting up your broadband connection

Step 1. Connect the ADSL splitter to your phone
Start by unplugging your phone and plugging in your ADSL splitter.
Broadband services operate on a digital signal, while telephones operate on an analog signal. Splitters separate digital and analog signals from the telephone line between the computer and the telephone so that they do not mix

Step 2. Filter out other phone extensions
If you have other telephone devices in the house, take a telephone filter and connect it between the telephone and the wall outlet in the same way as you connected the ADSL filter.
A telephone filter works in the same way as an ADSL splitter, but instead of splitting signals between analog and digital, it filters the digital signal so that it does not interfere with the telephone while using it

Step 3. Connect your phone to one of the ports on the ADSL splitter labeled Tel
Take the phone cable that comes with your broadband package and connect it to the splitter's DSL port.

Step 4. Connect the other end of this telephone cable to the back of your modem or router
There is only one port on your router or modem that can fit a telephone cable, so you should have no trouble connecting.

Step 5. Take an internet cable from your broadband package and plug it into one of the internet ports behind your router or modem
Most routers have four Internet ports; You can connect a cable to any of these four ports.

Step 6. Take the other end of the Internet cable and connect it to the Internet port on the back of your computer (next to the speaker ports) or laptop (side or back)
There is only one port on the computer that can fit an internet cable, so you should find it easily.

Step 7. Connect the power cable to your router or modem and plug it into a power outlet
Press the power button of the modem or router, the lights on the router or modem should flash, which means it is booting.
When the blinking stops, turn on your computer, open your web browser, and start surfing the web
