This wikiHow will guide you through how to sign out of your Google Chrome account on your computer and mobile device. When you sign out of your Chrome account, you will no longer be able to change your Chrome bookmarks, settings, and services, meaning you will stop syncing with your Google account.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Personal Computer

Step 1. Open Google Chrome web browser

This is a red-green-yellow-blue sphere icon.

Step 2. Push ⋮
It's in the upper-right corner of the Chrome window. A dropdown menu will appear.

Step 3. Select the Settings item
This item is in the middle of the dropdown menu.

Step 4. Click EXIT
It's to the right of your email address at the top of the page.

Step 5. Press QUIT when prompted
You will see this button in the lower right corner of the pop-up window. This will sign out of your Google Chrome account.
Method 2 of 2: Mobile device

Step 1. Launch the Chrome web browser

Tap the Chrome app icon, which looks like a red-green-yellow-blue sphere.

Step 2. Tap ⋮
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen. After that, you will see a dropdown menu.

Step 3. Tap Settings
