Have you ever had a situation where when you entered an address into the GPS navigation system, it reported that the address could not be found? If you rarely update your GPS, the system will not be aware of the changed street names and addresses. Updating can be expensive, so you can use Google Maps to find the GPS coordinates of an address and use it as your destination. Read on to find out how to do this.
Steps

Step 1. Find the address in Google Maps
Open the Google Maps website and enter the full address in the search field. The map should focus on the address you provided.

Step 2. Right click on this spot
Right-click on the marked address. A menu will appear with several options.

Step 3. Select "What's Here?
"A list of nearby businesses will be displayed on the left. The coordinates will be displayed in the search box at the top of the page.
You can perform this action without looking up the address. You can right-click anywhere on the map to find the coordinates of that location

Step 4. Copy the coordinates
You can copy the coordinates in the search box and enter them into any GPS navigation system.

Step 5. Find the coordinates using the New Google Maps Preview
Click anywhere on the map and you will see the coordinates in the window below the search bar. You may need to double-click if you have selected a different location before. The first click will reset the preselection, and the next one will show the new coordinates.
- If you click on the marked area, you will not see the coordinates. Instead, you will be shown information about the business or location you have chosen. To find the coordinates, you must deselect the previous selection and click next to it.
- If you want to return to classic Google Maps, click the "?" in the lower right corner of the window and select "Revert Classic Google Maps".
