If you are switching to the Safari browser, save the bookmarks from Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer as an HTML file, and then use the Safari "Import from file" option to transfer them to that browser. You can also transfer bookmarks from desktop Safari to mobile using iCloud. Importing bookmarks ensures that all your favorite sites are available in the new browser.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: How to Import Bookmarks into Desktop Safari

Step 1. Launch Safari

Step 2. Find the bookmarks file
If you exported bookmarks from an old browser, look for the file in the folder where you saved it.
If you've saved your bookmarks file to iCloud or Google Drive, go to the appropriate site. Download the bookmarks file to your computer to import bookmarks into Safari

Step 3. Download the bookmarks file from iCloud or Google Drive
Remember the folder where the file is located on your computer so you know where to import your bookmarks from.

Step 4. Click "File" in the upper left corner of the Safari window

Step 5. Click Import From> HTML Bookmarks File
A window will open in which you need to select a bookmark file.

Step 6. Find and select the bookmarks file
To do this, go to the folder where it is stored (for example, on the desktop).

Step 7. Click "Import"

Step 8. Refresh your browser by pressing F5
The bookmarks will appear below the Safari address bar.
Method 2 of 3: How to Import Bookmarks to Mobile Safari

Step 1. Launch Safari on your computer

Step 2. Open the Apple menu
Click on the Apple logo in the upper left corner of the screen.

Step 3. Click on System Preferences> iCloud
The iCloud settings menu will open.

Step 4. Sign in to iCloud with your Apple ID
Enter the credentials with which to log into iCloud on iPhone / iPad.

Step 5. Check the box next to "Safari" in the iCloud menu
Safari data, including bookmarks, will be saved to iCloud and can be accessed from any mobile device associated with your iCloud account.

Step 6. Take your iPhone / iPad and unlock your device

Step 7. Launch the "Settings" application
Tap the gear-shaped icon on the home screen.

Step 8. Tap "iCloud"

Step 9. Sign in to iCloud again using your Apple ID
Enter the credentials with which you signed in to iCloud on your computer.

Step 10. Scroll down the page and find "Safari" on it
Now move the slider next to this option to the "Enable" position. If the slider is green, Safari is already syncing with iCloud.

Step 11. Exit the Settings app

Step 12. Launch Safari and open the bookmarks page
Tap the book-shaped icon in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

Step 13. Make sure the bookmarks have been imported
The bookmarks should appear on the Favorites tab.
Method 3 of 3: How to export bookmarks from other browsers
Google chrome

Step 1. Launch Google Chrome

Step 2. Open the Chrome menu
Click the three horizontal lines icon in the upper right corner of the browser window.

Step 3. Select "Bookmarks"
A dropdown menu will open.

Step 4. Select "Bookmark Manager" from the menu

Step 5. Click on the icon in the form of three vertical dots
It's in the top right corner of the bookmarks page. A menu will open.

Step 6. Select "Export Bookmarks" from the menu
To import this file to your mobile device, first import it into Safari on your computer

Step 7. Select a folder to save the file in the left pane of the "Save As" window
Save the file in a location that you can easily find, such as your desktop.
You can also change the name of the bookmarks file in the Save As window

Step 8. Click "OK" to download the file

Step 9. Confirm the location of the file
The file is now ready to be imported into Safari.
If you transfer bookmarks from one computer to another, copy the bookmarks file to a flash drive or upload it to a cloud storage (such as iCloud or Google Drive) and then transfer the file to the other computer
Firefox

Step 1. Start Firefox

Step 2. Click "Bookmarks" in the menu bar
The Bookmarks menu opens.

Step 3. Click Show All Bookmarks to open the Library window
It will display all your bookmarks, as well as import and export options.

Step 4. Click "Import & Backups" on the toolbar at the top of the window

Step 5. Click "Export Bookmarks to HTML File"
Firefox will prompt you to select a folder to save the bookmarks file.
To import this file to your mobile device, first import it into Safari on your computer

Step 6. Select a folder to save the file in the left pane of the Save As window
Save the file in a location that you can easily find, such as your desktop.
You can also change the name of the bookmarks file in the Save As window

Step 7. Click "Save" to download the file

Step 8. Confirm the location of the file
The file is now ready to be imported into Safari.

Internet Explorer

Step 1. Launch Internet Explorer

Step 2. Click on the star-shaped icon in the upper right corner of the window
The Favorites menu will open.

Step 3. Click the down arrow icon next to Add to Favorites
A menu will open.

Step 4. On the menu, click "Import and Export"
The Import and Export Settings window opens.

Step 5. Select "Export File" and then click "Next"
To import this file to your mobile device, first import it into Safari on your computer

Step 6. Press Favorites to highlight this option and then press Next

Step 7. Select the files you want to export and then click Next
If you want to export your entire Favorites folder, including subfolders, click Favorites at the top of the list

Step 8. Click “Browse” to select a folder to save the bookmarks file
Save the file in a location that you can easily find, such as your desktop.

Step 9. Click “OK” to confirm your choice of folder to save the file

Step 10. Click "Export"
The file will be downloaded to the specified folder.

Step 11. Confirm the location of the file
The file is now ready to be imported into Safari!

Advice
- Keep a copy of the HTML bookmarks file as a backup in case the bookmarks are lost.
- To add a bookmark in Safari, press ⌘ Command + D.
- To transfer bookmarks from a browser other than Safari to a mobile device, on a computer, export the bookmarks to an HTML file, import the file into Safari, and then sync the mobile device with iCloud.
