Steps
Part 1 of 4: Create an account

Step 1. Go to the MEGA website

Step 2. Click the Create account button

Step 3. Enter all the required information

Step 4. Click the Create account button
An email will be sent to the specified email address confirming the creation of an account. Open your inbox and click on the confirmation link to activate your account.

Choose an account type and start using the service.
Part 2 of 4: Basic Information

Step 1. Create a folder
Organize your files by placing them in the appropriate folders. Click the New folder button on the toolbar.
Give the folder a name and click Create. Then open the folder
Step 2. Upload files
Click on Upload File or Upload Folder on the toolbar. Select Download File to download a single file, or Download Folder to download an entire folder.
- To upload a folder, click the Upload Folder button. A dialog box will appear on the screen, in which you must specify the desired folder and click "Upload".

Step 3. Delete the file or folder
Right-click the folder or file you want to delete and select the Delete option.
- To display all deleted files, click on Trash in the lower left corner of the screen.

MEGA10 - If you want to restore a file or folder, go to the Trash, right-click on the desired file or folder, hover over the Move … option and select Cloud Disk.

Part 3 of 4: Downloading Files from MEGA

Step 1. Click on the required file with the right mouse button
Hover over the Download option.

Step 2. There are two download options to choose from
Regular Download and Download in ZIP. Choose the download that suits you best. This will start downloading the file. Typically, you choose ZIP upload for folder downloads, and Normal upload for individual files.
Part 4 of 4: Sharing Files with Others

Step 1. Right-click on the file you want to share
A context menu with the following options will appear on the screen: Download, Popular, Get a link, and so on.

Step 2. Click on the Get link option to generate an exchange link that other users can use to download the file

Step 3. Read the copyright notice carefully
The file sharing service ensures that the file sharing does not lead to any copyright infringement and behavior that could get you into trouble. Therefore, confirm your consent to the file sharing and click on I agree.

Step 4. Select the link type
There are two methods for sharing files, each with their own advantages, so choose wisely!

Key link.
By sharing this link, you increase the security of your files. The recipient will be able to download the files only after they receive the decryption key from you. To get this key, click on the Decryption key option next to the Link with key option in the same window and submit it too.

Keyless link.
If you share this link, any user who clicks on it will be able to download the file without any verification. Copy this link by clicking on the Link without a key option in the same window. Only share this link if you do not mind that someone can access this data.
Advice
- Never use your personal information such as name, mobile phone number, etc. Because of them, hackers can try to hack into your account.
- For quick access to files, use the mobile version of the file hosting service.
- Never upload confidential files to cloud storage. No matter how secure it is, there is always a risk that someone might hack it. Better to be safe than sorry.
