This article will show you how to download songs from SoundCloud website to your computer. Some songs can be downloaded directly from SoundCloud, but most songs will require a Chrome browser extension or dedicated online service. If the artist allows the download of his works, a corresponding button will be displayed next to them. To download music to your mobile device, use the SoundCloud Go or SoundCloud Go + app. If you use third-party services to download songs, remember about copyright.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: How to Download a Song Directly from SoundCloud

Step 1. Go to SoundCloud.com
Do this in your computer's web browser.

Step 2. Log into your SoundCloud account
To do this, click Sign in in the upper right corner of the page, enter your email address, click Continue, enter your password and click Sign in.
If you do not have a SoundCloud account, click “Create account” in the upper right corner of the page, then follow the onscreen instructions

Step 3. Click on the search bar at the top of the page
This row displays the text “Search for artists, bands, tracks, podcasts”.

Step 4. Find a song
Type in a song title, then press ↵ Enter.

Step 5. Click on the name of the found song
The song page will open.

Step 6. Find the Download button
If the song can be downloaded, you will find this button below the window to play the song.
If there is no button, download the song using a Chrome extension or an online service

Step 7. Click Download
The song will be downloaded to your computer; you may need to choose a download folder first.
Method 2 of 3: Using the ZoundCloud Downloader Chrome Extension

Step 1. Launch Google Chrome

Click on the red-green-yellow-blue circle icon. You can usually find it on your desktop or taskbar. The ZoundCloud Downloader extension is only available for Google Chrome.

Step 2. Go to the ZoundCloud Downloader extension page in the Chrome Web Store
Alternatively, you can go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore, click the Search Store search bar in the upper left corner, type zoundcloud downloader, and then select zoundcloud downloader from the menu below the search bar

Step 3. Click Install
It's a blue button in the upper right corner of the window.

Step 4. Click Install Extension when prompted
The ZoundCloud Downloader extension will be installed in the Chrome browser.

Step 5. Open the SoundCloud website

Step 7. Find a song
Type in a song title, then press ↵ Enter.

Step 8. Select a song
To do this, click on the song you want to download.

Step 9. Click Download
This option is on the line with other options: Like, Repost, and Share below the window for playing the song. It will be downloaded to your computer.
Depending on your Chrome settings, you may have to choose a download folder first
Method 3 of 3: Using SoundCloud to MP3 online service

Step 1. Open the SoundCloud website

Step 2. Click on the search bar
It's in the middle of the page and contains the text “Search for artists, bands, tracks, podcasts”.
If you're signed in to a SoundCloud account, the search bar is at the top of the page

Step 3. Find a song
Type in a song title, then press ↵ Enter.
Enter the artist's name if you don't know the title of the song

Step 4. Click on the title of the song you want to download
The song page will open.
Clicking the sound wave icon next to the title will not open the song page

Step 5. Copy the URL that appears in the address bar at the top of the browser window
Select the address, then press Ctrl + C (Windows) or ⌘ Command + C (Mac).

Step 6. Open the SoundCloud to MP3 service website
Since these services are unstable, in case of problems with the SoundCloud to MP3 service, use a similar free service, for example, Klickaud

Step 7. Paste the copied song address into the text box
Click in the text box in the middle of the page, and then press Ctrl + V (Windows) or ⌘ Command + V (Mac).

Step 8. Click Download
It's an orange button to the right of the text box.

Step 9. Click on Download MP3
This green button is at the bottom of the page that will open when you click the Download button. The song will be downloaded to your computer; double click on the downloaded audio file to play the song.
