Almost any anime can be found on torrent trackers. So you not only watch your favorite anime, but you can also create an anime collection. As a rule, anime downloaded from torrent trackers include a file with subtitles so as not to search for them on other sites. Most anime video files are in MKV format, which is supported by many free media players like VLC Player.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Downloading the anime

Step 1. Download a torrent client
Torrent client is a program for downloading and distributing files in peer-to-peer networks. Install a torrent client to download files that are stored on other users' computers. One of the most popular torrent clients is qBittorrent, which can be downloaded for free at qbittorrent.org.
To install the torrent client, follow the instructions on the screen. During the installation of qBittorrent, extraneous programs will not be installed, but when installing another client, for example, uTorrent, carefully read the information on the screen to refuse to install unnecessary software

Step 2. Find a torrent tracker with lots of anime
A torrent tracker is a site for finding the desired files that users exchange with each other. As a rule, on torrent trackers you can find not only new but also old anime. Search for "anime torrent" (without quotes) to find the corresponding torrent trackers. Below is a list of trackers with a lot of anime.
- Manytorrents.net
- Torentor.net
- Allbesta
- Kinotorka
- Animetorrents

Step 3. Find the anime you want
You can do this in several ways (depending on what you want to download):
- To find a specific episode or episode, add the episode / episode number to the end of the anime name. In most cases, anime episodes / episodes are numbered in ascending order. Please note that the season number is not always indicated.
- To find all episodes, add “complete” or “all episodes” (without quotes) to the end of the anime name. You will find torrents that include all the episodes of the desired anime at once. Keep in mind that if there are many series, the file size will be very large; in some cases, these files are split into separate volumes.

Step 4. Pay attention to the translation of the anime
If you download anime from Russian-language trackers, it will be translated into Russian or provided with Russian-language subtitles. Older animes contain subtitles embedded in the video file.

Step 5. Choose a torrent with a lot of seeds
Seeds are users who have the file you need and distribute it to other users. Typically, the number of seeds is indicated in the "S" column. The more seeds there are, the faster the anime downloads.

Step 6. Click on the link to download the torrent file
A torrent file is a small file that manages the download of the file you want (in this case the anime). When clicking on the link, be careful - some torrent trackers replace the real link with a fake one, which leads to an advertisement.
It is illegal to download anime that you have not purchased. You may have to pay a fine or be more severely punished. For information on how to avoid getting caught, read this article

Step 7. Open the torrent file in a torrent client
In most cases, when you download a torrent file, it will automatically open in the torrent client. If the client does not start, open the torrent file in it manually.

Step 8. Wait for the download to complete
The torrent client will connect to the seeds, that is, to the users serving the file you need. The download speed will be slow at first, but it will increase as you connect to more seeds. You can follow the download process in the torrent client window.

Part 2 of 2: Playing the downloaded anime

Step 1. Download VLC media player
In VLC, you can easily play any video file and subtitles. This free media player player supports a wide variety of video formats. Keep in mind that most anime are distributed in MKV format, which is not supported by either Windows Media Player or Quicktime.
VLC can be downloaded for free at videolan.org/. This media player supports almost any operating system including Android and iOS

Step 2. Open the downloaded video file in VLC
During installation, VLC associates with most video formats, meaning video files will open in VLC by default. If the video file tries to open in any other player, right-click on the video file and select "Open With" - "VLC".
If the anime is playing with delays, the computer hardware cannot handle high-definition video. In this case, try closing active programs - playback may improve

Step 3. Turn on subtitles
If the anime has subtitles, turn them on in the Subtitles menu (in the VLC window). Select "Channel" and then select the appropriate subtitle language. If the Channel submenu is empty, most likely you need to download a separate subtitle file. As a rule, the link to the subtitle file is provided in the information section of the torrent page (on the torrent tracker). In most cases, subtitles are already embedded in the MKV video file.

Step 4. Change the audio track
If the anime includes two audio tracks - in Japanese and Russian (or other) - select any of them; to do this, click "Sound" - "Soundtrack" and select the appropriate audio language.
