In this article, we are going to show you how to download Indian movies to your smartphone or computer. To download Indian films (in Hindi and Russian) to your computer for free, use YouTube or uTorrent. You can also buy movies in Hindi for iPhone or Android in the iTunes Store or Play Store, respectively. Be aware that downloading paid movies for free is considered piracy and is prohibited in many countries.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Using YouTube
Step 1. Open the Indian Films YouTube channel page
You can download Indian films in Russian on it. For Hindi movies, head over to the Bollywood YouTube channel.
Step 2. Click Popular
This option is on the channel page. The list of full-length films of the channel will open.
Step 3. Browse the list of movies
Scroll through it and find the movie you need; you can also use the search bar to find a specific movie by title.
Step 4. Select a movie
To do this, click on the desired movie. It will start playing.
Step 5. Change the address of the movie to remove the "playlist" tag
You won't be able to download the movie with this tag. To remove the specified tag, look for the movie address at the top of the browser window, and then remove the & plist text and any text to the right of it. Note that some movie URLs do not have the “playlist” tag - if so, skip this step.
For example, the address https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12345&plist=12345 should change to
Step 6. Copy the address of the movie
Select the edited movie address, and then press Ctrl + C (Windows) or ⌘ Command + C (Mac) to copy it.
Step 7. Open the Convert2MP3 website
Go to https://convert2mp3.club/en/ in your web browser. This web service converts YouTube videos, which are usually protected, to MP4 files that you can download to your computer.
Step 8. Enter the address of the movie
Click the first text box at the top of the page, and then press Ctrl + V (Windows) or ⌘ Command + V (Mac) to paste the address.
Step 9. Choose MP4 format
Click on "mp3" to the right of the text field with the address of the movie, and then select "mp4" from the menu that opens. The MP4 quality menu will appear under the movie address field.
Step 10. Choose quality
Open the “MP4 quality” menu and then select a quality (for example, “1080p”). You cannot choose a quality that is higher than the maximum quality of the movie.
Step 11. Click Convert
This orange button is to the right of the movie address field.
Step 12. Click Download
When the movie conversion process is complete, a green button will appear. Click on it to start the process of downloading the MP4 file to your computer.
Step 13. Play the movie
Once the file is downloaded to your computer, double-click it to play it on your computer's main video player.
Method 2 of 4: Using uTorrent
Step 1. Install uTorrent
This program allows you to open downloaded torrents, which are small files that you can use to download other files (in this case, movies). uTorrent is free to download and use.
Keep in mind that it is illegal to download movies that do not belong to you for free
Step 2. Open a search engine
It could be Yandex or Google. With the help of a search engine, you need to find as many torrent trackers (sites) as possible that have the desired movie.
Step 3. Enter the title of the movie
Type in the title of the movie you want to download, then type download torrent, then press ↵ Enter.
For example, enter raja download torrent
Step 4. Select a movie to download
Click on the link with the required information. Typically, movie torrent links contain the movie title, movie language, and movie quality.
Step 5. Determine if the torrent is safe
For this:
- Read the comments. If most of them are positive, the torrent can be downloaded.
- Check the ratings. High scores indicate a safe file, while low scores indicate a damaged or unsafe file.
- Look at the ratio of seeders to liches. Seeds are the people downloading the file, and the lychees are the users uploading the file. If there are no seeders, the file will not be downloaded; try to find a file with more seeders than lychees.
Step 6. Find and click the "Download" button
The location and appearance of this button varies by site, so look for a Download or Upload button, or an arrow icon. You can also click on something like "Download torrent" or a similar option.
You may be redirected to pages with ads several times before the Download button actually starts the torrent download. In this case, just close the ad window and click "Download" again
Step 7. Wait for the torrent to be downloaded to your computer
It only takes a few seconds.
Step 8. Launch uTorrent
The icon for this program looks like the letter "µ" on a light green background.
Step 9. Click File
It's in the upper-left corner of the uTorrent window (Windows) or screen (Mac). A menu will open.
Step 10. Click Add Torrent
You will find this option in the menu. A window will open.
Step 11. Select the downloaded torrent
To do this, click on it. First, you may have to click on the torrent download folder (for example, the Downloads folder) in the left pane of the window.
On Windows, scroll through the contents of the left pane to find the folder you want
Step 12. Click Open
It's in the lower-right corner of the window. The downloaded torrent will open in uTorrent.
Step 13. Select the folder where the movie will be downloaded
Click "…" to the right of "Save to" in the upper left corner of the window, and then click on the desired folder (for example, on "Desktop").
Step 14. Click Select Folder
This button is located in the lower right corner of the window.
Step 15. Click on OK
It's at the bottom of the window. The process of downloading the movie will start.
Step 16. Wait for the download process to complete
It can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the number of seeds, internet connection speed and file size.
Step 17. Play the movie
Double-click the downloaded file in the specified folder to play the movie in the selected media player.
If the movie does not play, convert it to MP4 format. This is usually not required if you are using the VLC media player
Method 3 of 4: Using the iTunes Store
Step 1. Launch the iTunes Store app
Click the white star icon on a pink background.
Step 2. Click Search
This option is marked with a magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3. Click on the search bar
It's at the top of the screen.
Step 4. Find a movie
Enter its name and then press "Find" on your keyboard.
You can also enter Indian cinema or Bollywood if you don't know the title of the movie
Step 5. Tap the Movies tab
You will find it at the top of the screen.
If you don't see this tab, click More, and then choose Movies from the menu
Step 6. Select a movie
Tap the movie you want to purchase. His page will open.
Step 7. Click Buy
It's in the upper-right side of the page.
You can also click Rent to rent the movie if you don't want to buy it
Step 8. Tap the Touch ID sensor
Do this when prompted. That way you can buy the movie.
If your device doesn't have a Touch ID sensor, enter your Apple ID password. You may need to click Buy again first
Step 9. Wait for the movie to be downloaded to the device
The movie can now be viewed in the TV app, which comes pre-installed on all iPhones / iPads running iOS 10 or later.
- Launch the TV application.
- Click Library.
- Choose your movie.
Method 4 of 4: Using the Play Store
Step 1. Launch Play Store
Click on the multi-colored triangle icon.
Step 2. Tap ☰
This symbol is located in the upper left corner of the screen. A menu will open.
Step 3. Click Movies
You will find this option at the top of the menu.
Step 4. Click on the search bar
It's at the top of the screen.
Step 5. Find the movie
Enter the title of the movie, then press Find or ↵ Enter. A movie will be found in the Play Store.
You can also enter Indian cinema or Bollywood if you don't know the title of the movie
Step 6. Select a movie
To do this, click on it. The movie page will open.
Step 7. Tap Buy
It's in the upper-right side of the screen.
Step 8. Select the quality of the movie
Press “SD” (standard definition) or “HD” (high definition) when prompted. Some films do not have an “HD” option.
Step 9. Click Buy when prompted
This will buy the movie and upload it to your account.
If you have not yet added a payment method to Play Store, you will be prompted to do so
Step 10. Launch the Google Play Movies app
The icon for this app looks like a red film strip.
If you don't have this app, install it for free from the Play Store
Step 11. Open your library
Click on the "☰" icon in the upper left corner of the screen, and then select "Library" from the menu. If the movie has already loaded, it will be displayed on the page.
Step 12. Play the movie
To do this, just click on it.
