Step 1. Create a YouTube account
YouTube is owned by Google, so don't be surprised if your account already exists. If you have a Google account that you use for Gmail or other Google services, then there is no need to create a YouTube profile.
Go to https://www.youtube.com/account and create a new account if you don't already have a profile. Make sure you don't have Google login details beforehand

Step 2. Download and install the YouTube app

Method 1 of 3: Download from the YouTube app

Step 1. Open the app and log into your account

Step 2. Open your account page

select a source. Click the Explorer button (three horizontal lines) in the upper left corner of the screen, and then select Recent, Video or Downloads

here will be new videos on your phone. If the video was filmed recently, then you will find it in this tab.

here will be videos downloaded from the net. You should be aware that to upload a video to YouTube, you must be the copyright holder, otherwise the video will be deleted.

Step 5. Edit the video
The YouTube app offers a quick video trimming function. Drag the blue circles on either side of the blue rectangle to trim the length of the video.

Step 6. Come up with a name
The title must be relevant to the content of the video. This will make it easier for everyone to find your video. Don't name your videos loosely for the sake of views. Not only will this anger viewers, but it will also affect the rating of the recording.

Step 7. Add a description
You don't need to write too much text, but indicate what viewers should expect from the video. For example, if you recorded holiday fireworks, then you can indicate the place where everything happened. Try to anticipate questions from viewers and answer them in advance in the description.

Step 8. Set up your privacy
Three options are available under the heading "Privacy". You can also change the settings later, after downloading the video.

Limited access.
the video will be available for viewing only to you. This is a good option if you just want to save the video. The function also allows you to see how the video will look on YouTube, after which you can open access.

Access by link.
the video will be available only to those who have the link. This option allows you to share the video with a limited number of people (for example, friends and family). It should be understood that friends can share the link with other people.

Step 9. Add tags
Tags help YouTube determine when to display videos in search results. For example, if you use the "League of Legends" tag, your video may appear in the results list when a user searches for League of Legends videos. In addition, YouTube tags are more likely to show videos to interested users.
Tags must also match the content of the video. If you enter invalid tags, you may receive a spam warning

Step 10. Upload the video
If you are an Android user, then click the icon that looks like a right arrow. If you are an iPhone user, then press the blue up arrow button.
Method 2 of 3: Downloading from the Camera app (Android)

Step 1. Select a video from the gallery
If the video hasn't been filmed yet or you don't know how to find the video, then follow the directions.
- Click on the camera icon at the bottom of the desktop.
- Click the camcorder icon and then take a video.
- Click the square in the lower right or upper left corner of the screen, which is a preview of the recording you made.
- Scroll through all the videos to select the one you want.

Step 2. Click “Submit”
Once you've selected the video you want, tap the screen once to see more options. Click the "Submit" icon.

Step 3. Select YouTube
Depending on the model and settings of your device, sometimes you need to select More to find the YouTube option. Browse the entire list to find this item.

Click the icon in the lower left corner of the screen. Sometimes you need to tap the screen once to see this icon.
