Steps
Method 1 of 2: Change your password
Step 1. Go to this address in your browser
www.spotify.com.
The password cannot be changed on the mobile version of Spotify
Step 2. Click on Log In in the upper right corner of the window
Step 3. Enter your username / email address and password
If you are logging into Spotify with Facebook and have forgotten the password of your account on this social network, then you need to change the password on the Facebook website
Step 4. Click LOG IN
Step 5. Click on your username at the bottom left of the window
Step 6. Select Account
If you are in the player, then first click on "View Account" (Open profile)
Step 7. Scroll down and click on Change Password
It's next to the lock icon on the left side of the page.
Step 8. In the top field, enter your current password
Step 9. In the next field, enter your new password
Step 10. Enter the new password in the lower field again
Step 11. Click on SET NEW PASSWORD
Your password will be updated.
Method 2 of 2: Reset your password
Step 1. Go to this address in your browser
www.spotify.com/password-reset.
Step 2. Enter your username or email address in the field
See it to be the email address associated with Spotify.
Step 3. Press SEND
A letter should be sent to the specified address.
Step 4. Find the email from Spotify and open it
Step 5. Click on the link in the letter
Step 6. Enter a new password in the corresponding field
Step 7. Re-enter the new password
Step 8. Click SET PASSWORD
Your password will be changed.
