This article will teach you how to create an online ID card using free software. The card can be printed at home for free and laminated, or you can use professional printing services. One project can be used to create ID cards for hundreds of employees.
Steps
Step 1. Creating an ID is quick and easy
Go online to the ID Generation website.
Step 2. Start with the CREATE NEW DESIGN tab
From here, double-click on a pre-prepared template, or click on an empty workspace to start from scratch.
Step 3. Add text, shape, barcodes, and photos using the edit buttons on the left
Step 4. In the icon properties window, to the left of the workspace icon, select the background color for the map
You can also apply hologram lamination. You can also add a magnetic stripe encoder.
Step 5. Click on the "Save" icon to save your design
Your design will be saved in the "My Projects" tab.
Step 6. Click on the "My Projects" tab to print your projects
Step 7. Select a design to be printed on a desktop printer by exporting the design to a PDF file
Step 8. Select "Print Card Professionally" by selecting the cards you want to order
