So, you got bored during recess at school, and you wanted to go to Facebook. However, as soon as you entered the address, you see the blocking message from SonicWall. You might think your days of surfing the Internet are over, but there are ways to fix this problem. Read on to find out about them.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Through a secure site

Step 1. Go to the blocked site
You will see the familiar "site blocked" message. Even a weakly configured Sonicwall firewall will block all installed sites.
2 Add the letter "S" to the end of "HTTP". In the address bar, change the address from “http://www.example.com” to “https://www.example.com”. Thus, you will try to download the encrypted version of the site. It won't work if the site doesn't support encryption. If Sonicwall has been poorly configured, using this method you should be able to access the site you want. If it doesn't work, go to the next method described in this article. The web proxy will connect to the desired site through a helper server that processes and renders the page for you. This will trick your network into thinking that you are visiting some unknown and unblocked website. If the site is blocked, try another one. When choosing sites from the list, give preference to those that are geographically closer to you. This will help minimize the loss of speed. Using proxy servers from other countries will load the page in that country's language. Enter the address of the site you want to visit. Since proxy sites replay the data of the site you want to visit, there is a possibility that the site may not load correctly. This will most likely interfere with the download of the video. In this case, try to open the site through a different proxy. Tor is a free proxy server system that allows you to remain anonymous when visiting websites through your browser. Information bounces off many different nodes that exist all over the world. This program allows you to bypass any firewalls and blockages installed on the connection. The disadvantage of this system is that sites load slowly, as the data must travel a long distance to reach you. Tor is a modified version of Firefox, so they have a similar interface. When you open the program, you will see a window that displays the connection status. The browser will open when the connection is established. When the browser window opens, you should see a page confirming a successful connection to Tor. You can now visit sites that have been blocked. Closing your browser window will also stop Tor running. Another way to bypass the firewall is to connect to your home computer and browse sites via Remote Desktop. To do this, your computer must be turned on and connected to the Internet. In order to connect to a remote desktop, you will need to use a service that opens access to your computer through a web browser or a program that does not need to be installed. Best use Chrome Remote Desktop and TeamViewer. By connecting to a remote computer, you can use it as if you yourself were sitting at it. Opening a browser and browsing sites is also the case. You will use your home Internet connection to access sites, bypassing the blocking of SonicWall.
Step 3. Try to load the site
Method 2 of 4: Proxy
Step 1. Find the list of proxy servers
Step 2. Select a site with a proxy
Step 3. Select an address
Method 3 of 4: Via the Tor software package
Step 1. Download the Tor software package
Tor is a standalone program that does not need to be installed. This makes it especially convenient for browsing websites from school or work. You can write it to a USB flash drive and insert it into your computer. This program works on Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems
Step 2. Open your browser
Only traffic sent through the Tor browser (Firefox) will be sent over the Tor network. This means that Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari and any other browser will not be anonymized over the Tor network. Regular Firefox will also not work with this program
Step 3. Check the connection
While data on the Tor network is encrypted, it cannot be decrypted when it leaves that network. This means that any secure transactions that you need to make are as vulnerable as when working through a regular browser. Only disclose personal information on sites that have SSL, Secure Sockets Layer enabled. Instead of HTTP: //, you will see HTTPS: //, and in the address bar of your browser, you will see a combination lock
Method 4 of 4: Via Remote Desktop
Step 1. Install Remote Desktop on your computer
This article will show you how to configure Remote Desktop settings
Step 2. Connect to your remote desktop through a browser
Step 3. Go to the site you want to access on the remote system
