Steps
Method 1 of 2: Reset a Forgotten Password
Step 1. Enter https://www.discordapp.com into the address bar of your browser
You can reset your Discord password in any browser like Safari or Firefox.
Step 2. Click Login in the upper right corner of the page
Step 3. Enter your email address in the "E-mail" field
This should be the address you used to register on Discord.
Step 4. Click on Forgot your password ?
It's a link under the Password field. You will see a pop-up asking you to find instructions in your mail.
Step 5. Open the email from Discord
To find it, you need to open the mail application or go to the email site.
Step 6. Click on Reset password in email
The browser will then redirect you to the "Change your password" page.
Step 7. Enter a new password in the blank field
Step 8. Click on Change Password
Congratulations, you have successfully reset your password.
Method 2 of 2: Change your current password
Step 1. Launch Discord
It's a blue icon with a smiling white gamepad in the Start menu (Windows) or in the Applications folder (Mac). If you want, you can enter https://www.discordapp.com into the address bar of your browser and click entrance in the upper right corner to sign in to your account.
Step 2. Click on the gear icon at the bottom of the second column, to the right of the headphones
Step 3. Click on Change
It's a blue button to the right of your username.
Step 4. Click on Change Password under the Current Password field
Step 5. Enter your current password in the Current Password field
Step 6. Enter a new password in the "New password" field
Step 7. Click Save
It's a green button at the bottom of the window. Your password will be changed immediately.
