In this article, you will learn how to send pictures to people who are not on your friends list. If they set up Snapchat so that anyone can contact them, they can view the snapshots right away. Otherwise, the snapshot will appear on your Pending Submission list and will remain there until the user adds you as a friend.
Steps

Step 1. Launch Snapchat
If you still haven't installed this app, download it from the App Store or Play Store.
If you are not already signed in to your account, enter your username and password. Find more information on how to install and set up Snapchat here

Step 2. Take a picture
Tap the capture button (the big white circle at the bottom of the screen) to take a photo, or hold it down to record a video.

Step 3. Tap the "Submit" button
It's a button with a white arrow inside a blue circle in the lower right corner of the screen. This will take you to the Send To page.

Step 4. Tap the search bar at the top of the Send To menu
When the onscreen keyboard appears, start typing.

Step 5. Enter the name of the user you want to add as a friend
As you type, matching usernames will begin to appear below the search bar.

Step 6. Tap the "+" button next to the username you are looking for
If the search is successful, the username you are looking for will remain on the screen along with the "+" button. Click this button to add this user to your Snapchat friends list.

Step 7. Tap the "Submit" button
A blue bar will appear at the bottom of the screen with a white arrow and your new friend's name. Click on it to send the photo to your new friend.
- If you don't know the username of the person you're looking for, add a friend from your phone book, Snapcode, or scan the nearest area to find other Snapchat users. To do this, you need to touch the blue person icon in the upper right corner of the Send to page and open the Add Friends menu.
- The recipient will be able to view the snapshot if they set up Snapchat so that anyone can contact them. Otherwise, the snapshot will freeze in the "Pending submission" status and will remain there until the user adds you as a friend.
