In this article, you will learn how to edit your post on Reddit and change its text through a browser on your computer.
Steps
Step 1. Open the Reddit website in a browser
Type reddit.com into the address bar and press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return on your keyboard
Step 2. Enter your username and password in the login form below the search field in the upper right corner of the screen
Step 3. Click on the login button to log into your account
Check the "remember me" checkbox to stay logged in
Step 4. Click on your username in the upper right corner of the screen, above the search field
This will take you to your profile page.
Step 5. Go to the Posts tab
This will list all the posts you've posted on Reddit.
If you want to edit a comment, go to the Comments tab
Step 6. Click on a text message from the list
Find the message you want to change and click on it. This will open the desired forum thread.
Only text messages can be edited. Reddit does not allow editing of posted images
Step 7. Click on the Edit button in the lower left corner of the text message
This will allow you to change the text of the message.
This function does not allow you to change the message header. If you make a mistake in the post header, delete it and post a new one in the same forum thread
Step 8. Edit the message text
The Edit button will open the message in a text box. Change part of the text or delete the entire message and type a new one.
