In this article, we are going to show you how to block Discord channel on Windows and macOS computer. No one on the server will be able to use the blocked channel.
Steps
Step 1. Open the Discord site on your computer
Launch your web browser and log in to https://discordapp.com. If you have Discord installed on your computer, look for it in the All Apps section of the Windows menu (Windows) or in the Applications folder (macOS).
To block a channel, you must be a server administrator or have the appropriate permissions
Step 2. Click on the server that hosts the channel
The server list is in the left pane of Discord.
Step 3. Click on the gear icon next to the channel you want to block
This icon will appear when you hover your mouse over a channel name in the list. A menu will open.
Step 4. Click Permissions
This is the second option on the menu.
Step 5. Click @everyone
You will find this option in the Roles / Members section at the top and center of the screen. The channel permissions for all users on the server are displayed.
Step 6. Press the X next to each resolution
Each X will turn red - this means that the server users have been deprived of their corresponding channel permissions.
Step 7. Click Save Changes
This green button is located at the bottom of the screen. The channel is blocked, that is, no person on the server will be able to use this channel.
