In this article, we'll show you how to install the Simple Poll app in Slack and use your computer's web browser to create a poll in your chat channel.
Steps

Step 1. Open the Simple Poll website in a web browser
Type simplepoll.rocks in the address bar and press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return.

Step 2. Click the Add to Slack button
You will find this button in the middle of the page. You will be prompted to authorize Simple Poll for your Slack workspace.
If you're not already signed in to Slack in your browser, enter your workspace address, then log in with your email address and password

Step 3. Click on the green Authorize button
You can now create polls and share them in the selected workspace.
- To create a simple survey in another workspace, click the icon

Step 4. Open Slack on your computer
To do this, launch the installed Slack program or log into your workspace on Slack.com.

Step 5. Select a channel on the left panel
To do this, find the desired channel in the list of channels in the workspace and open it.

Step 6. Enter / poll "Question" "1" "2" in the message field
This command will create a poll using the Simple Poll application; you can then share this survey with your chat partners.

Step 7. Replace "Question" with a survey question
Remove the word Question inside the quotes, and then enter a survey question.

Step 8. Instead of "1" and "2" enter the answer options
Remove the numbers inside the quotes and enter multiple choices for the survey question.
Enter more options if you want

Step 9. Send a message to the chat
Press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return to send the command to chat. The poll will be created.
