Snapchat tracks your progress in the app by unlocking trophies as you complete certain tasks. Snapchat hasn't revealed how to get these trophies, but Snapchat users have figured out how to unblock many of them by using Snapchat and all of its features on a regular basis. Read on to find out how to get trophies on Snapchat and what it takes to get all the trophies the community is currently aware of.

Part 1 of 2: Learn the basics of getting trophies
Step 1. Complete tasks on Snapchat to earn trophies
Trophies are emojis that are added to the trophy page in your profile. Trophies can be earned by completing certain tasks in Snapchat, and the more time-consuming the task, the better the trophy you will receive. When you first enter the trophy screen, most of them will be locked and hidden.
Snapchat Trophies are for your personal enjoyment only and do not affect the app itself in any way. Trophies do not provide access to additional features or privileges, and no one but you will see them
Step 2. Check the current trophies
A list of already unlocked trophies can be viewed on the Snapchat profile screen:
- Tap the ghost icon at the top of your Snapchat camera screen.
- Tap the Trophies button at the top of your profile screen.
- Tap a trophy to see its description. Trophies that you have not yet earned will be indicated by a padlock icon.
Step 3. Check this page periodically for new trophies
Snapchat updates the trophy list from time to time when a new feature launches. Check the page for new hidden trophies after every Snapchat update.
Part 2 of 2: Earn Trophies
Step 1. Boost your Snapchat account by sending and receiving pictures
One of the main trophy categories is based on your Snapchat account. Although the exact method of scoring is not known, users generally receive 1 point for each image they upload and another 1 point for each open one. Sending a photo to more than one person still counts as 1 photo. Upon reaching the specified results, the following trophies will be unlocked:

- ? - Send 1000 selfies. Use the front camera and submit 1000 shots of your face to claim this trophy.
Step 2. Use filters to get trophies
There are several trophies associated with filters. To view filters, swipe left and right across the screen.
- ? - send a snapshot with any filter.
- ✌ - Apply two filters to one sent photo. To combine filters, hold one of the filters with your finger and slide the other finger across the screen.
- ? - apply black and white filter to 50 sent pictures. To quickly find this filter, slide your finger from right to left four times.
- ❄️ - Submit an image with a temperature filter showing less than 0 ° C. To do this, you will need to allow Snapchat to access geolocation. If you haven't already, grant access now.
- ? - Submit a picture with a temperature filter showing more than 38 ° C.
Step 3. Add drawings to pictures to get trophies
Use five or more different colors when painting to earn trophies. Select the Pencil option to display the color picker. Search online for instructions on how to unlock hidden colors in Snapchat.

Step 4. Submit a lot of videos to earn a lot of trophies
You can get a lot of trophies for submitting a video. Hold the capture button on the Snapchat camera screen to record a video.

- ? - submit 50 videos.
- ? - submit 500 videos.
- ? - send video without sound. Before sending a video, tap the Speaker button in the lower left corner to mute the video.
- ? - switch once between cameras while shooting video. Hold the shutter button, and then double-tap the screen with another finger to switch between cameras.
- ? - Switch five times between cameras while shooting video. To get this trophy, you will need to switch five times in one video.
- ? - Switch ten times between cameras while shooting video. For this trophy, you will need to switch ten times in one video. You won't have much time, so try to be in time.
Step 5. Earn trophies by experimenting with pictures
There are several trophies that can be earned using certain features available when receiving and sending pictures.
- ? - send 10 shots at maximum zoom. To zoom in and out, place two fingers on the screen and spread them apart. Place your fingers together to zoom out.
- ? - send 10 videos with zoom. Getting the trophy will not depend on the degree of zoom in the video.
- ? - increase the size of the text in 100 pictures. Tap the T-shaped button on the image screen to add text, and then tap again to enlarge it. Upload 100 pictures with enlarged text.
- ? - Submit your photo from 4 am to 5 am. The recipient does not need to open the snapshot during this time frame to earn the trophy.
- ? - send 10 pictures using the front flash. It's not a real "flash", but before taking a picture, the application will make the screen bright white, highlighting your face. Use the front camera and then click the Flash button in the upper right corner.
- ? - Send 50 pictures in night mode. If you're in a dark place, a moon icon will appear at the top of your Snapchat camera screen. It will increase the brightness of the screen image. This button only appears if the picture on the screen is dark enough, so find a dark place to activate it.
Step 6. Verify your details to earn some basic trophies
Several trophies can be earned by verifying your Snapchat profile details.
- ? - Confirm your email address in the Settings menu. Tap the ghost icon and then tap the gear button. Select the Mail option, enter your email address and click Continue to send a confirmation email. Follow the link in the email to verify the address.
- ☎ - confirm your mobile phone number in the "Settings" menu. This number is used to protect your account and find you among other people. Select Phone Number from the Snapchat settings menu and enter your mobile phone number. Enter your country in the top field to select a country code. Click "Submit" to receive a text message from Snapchat. Enter the code from the message to verify the number.
Step 7. Take screenshots of other pictures to earn trophies
Earn a couple of trophies by capturing a screenshot of the captured images. The sender of the screenshot will be notified that you have taken a screenshot. Make sure the sender has nothing against the screenshots, as many users think they are against Snapchat's unspoken etiquette.
- ? - take a screenshot of one picture. Take a screenshot using the special button combination. If you have an iPhone, hold down the Power and Home buttons to take a screenshot of the screen. If you have Android, the desired button combination will depend on the phone model, but usually these are the power and volume down buttons. - ? - Take a screenshot of 50 different pictures.
Step 8. Submit pictures to public history
If you participate in an event with a broadcast History, adding pictures to it will bring you trophies. Tap the Add to Story button below the snapshot. Select the public history of the event you are participating in to post your snapshot to it.

- ? - submit 10 snapshots to public history.
Step 9. Scan snapcodes
Snapcodes are a quick way to add a user to your Snapchat friends list. Just point your Snapchat camera over the snapcode, then tap and hold the screen.
