This article will show you how to sign in to your Snapchat account.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: How to Sign in to Snapchat
Step 1. Launch the Snapchat app
Click on the icon in the form of a white ghost on a yellow background. Typically, it is located on one of the desktops or in the app drawer.
If you don't have this app on your device, install it
Step 2. Click Login
Step 3. Tap the "Username or Email" line
It's at the top of the screen.
Step 4. Enter your username or email address
These credentials must match the information you entered when you created your Snapchat account.
Step 5. Tap the "Password" line
It is at the bottom of the screen.
Step 6. Enter your password
Step 7. Click Login
You will find this button at the bottom of the screen. If you entered the correct username (or email address) and password, you will be redirected to your account.
If you forgot your password, go to the next section
Method 2 of 3: How to reset your password using your phone
Step 1. Launch the Snapchat app

Step 2. Tap the "Username or Email" line
It's at the top of the screen.
Step 3. Enter your username or email address
Step 4. Click Forgot your password ?
You will find this option below the password entry line.
Step 5. Press on the phone
In this case, an SMS message with a confirmation code will be sent to your phone number. Confirmation is required to reset your Snapchat password.
If your Snapchat account doesn't have a phone number, skip to the next section
Step 6. Confirm that you are a human, not a bot
To do this, play a mini-game following the instructions on the screen.
Step 7. Tap Continue
You will find this button at the bottom of the screen.
Step 8. Enter your phone number
Step 9. Tap Continue
Step 10. Click Send SMS
An SMS message with a confirmation code will be sent to your phone number.
You can also click "Call Me" to find out the code through a phone call
Step 11. Open the message from Snapchat
In it you will find a six-digit code.
Don't close the Snapchat app
Step 12. Enter the six-digit code
Do this on the Enter Verification Code page of the Snapchat app.
Step 13. Tap Continue
Step 14. Enter the new password twice
Step 15. Tap Continue
It's an option at the bottom of the screen. The password will be updated. Now log into your account as usual.
Method 3 of 3: How to Reset Your Password by Email
Step 1. Launch the Snapchat app
Click on the icon in the form of a white ghost on a yellow background.
Step 2. Tap the "Username or Email" line
It's at the top of the screen.
Step 3. Enter your username or email address
Step 4. Click Forgot your password ?
You will find this option below the password entry line.
Step 5. Tap on email
In this case, an email will be sent to your email address with a link to reset your password.
Step 6. Tap the Email address line
You will find it above the "I'm not a robot" option.
Step 7. Enter your Snapchat email address
Step 8. Check the box next to the "I'm not a robot" option
Do this to confirm that you are a human and not a bot.
You may need to play a mini-game such as picking squares with a specific image. Then click "Confirm"
Step 9. Tap Submit
It's a button at the bottom of the screen. Snapchat will send you an email with a link to reset your password.
Step 10. Log into your mailbox
Step 11. Open your Snapchat email
The sender of the email must be Team Snapchat and the subject must be Snapchat Password Reset.
The email may end up in the Spam folder (or the Updates folder in Gmail)
Step 12. Click on the link in the letter
You will find it in the center of the letter.
Step 13. Enter the new password twice
Step 14. Tap Change Password
The password will be updated. Now log into your account as usual.
