This article will show you how to delete a chat on Snapchat.
Steps
Step 1. Launch the Snapchat app
Click on the yellow icon with a white ghost on one of your device's desktops.
Step 2. Open your profile page
To do this, click on the profile picture (or silhouette) in the upper left corner of the screen.
Step 3. Tap the gear
You will find it in the upper right corner of the screen. The Snapchat settings will open.
Step 4. Scroll down and tap Delete chats
You will find this option in the "Other" section at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5. Press the X next to the chat
A message will appear stating that the chat will be deleted excluding saved messages.
To delete a saved message, open the chat and hold the message until the word "Unsaved" appears. Please do so before deleting the chat
Step 6. Click Remove to confirm your actions
The chat will be deleted.
- Also in the upper right corner of the screen there is an option "Delete all", with which you can delete all chats.
- To view your saved messages, start a chat with the corresponding contact.
