This article will show you how to send a message to a friend on TikTok and check your inbox on Android.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Send a message
Step 1. Open TikTok on Android
The icon looks like a black square with a white musical note. You will find it in the Applications menu.
Step 2. Tap
in the lower right corner.
This button will open your profile page.
Step 3. Tap Follow below your profile photo
This button shows at the top of your profile the total number of people you follow. A list of people you follow will open.
Tap Subscribers next to Subscriptions to see a list of people who follow you
Step 4. Tap the person you want to send the message to
Find the person you want to chat with and tap their name in the list to open their profile.
Step 5. Tap the Messages button in his profile
You will find this button below the user's photo at the top of their profile. A message screen will open.
Step 6. Enter your message in the text box
Tap the text box at the bottom of the screen and enter your message.
Step 7. Tap the red airplane icon to the right of the text box
Your message will be sent.
Part 2 of 2: Check your inbox
Step 1. Tap the square text cloud icon at the bottom of the screen
A new page will open a list of all your notifications.
Step 2. Tap the Inbox icon in the upper right corner
It's in the upper-right corner of the notification list. Here you will see private messages sent to you by your friends.
Step 3. Tap the message in your mailbox
The conversation will open in full screen mode. Read all chat messages and reply to your friend.
