This article will show you how to upload an image to Discord from Android and use it as an emoji.
Steps

Step 1. Launch your mobile internet browser
The Discord app does not allow you to change server settings or upload emoji. Therefore, in order to do this, you will need to log in through an internet browser.

Step 2. Go to the Discord site
Enter discordapp.com into your browser address bar and press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return on your keyboard.
The discord.gg URL will redirect you to the same site

Step 3. Tap the ⋮ button in the upper right corner of the Internet browser to display the browser settings in the drop-down menu

Step 4. Tap Display on desktop
The page will reload and the desktop version of the Discord site will open.
- In some browser versions, this option is simply called "Desktop".
- If you skip this step and continue on the mobile site, you will not be able to change the server settings and add a custom emoji.

Step 5. Tap the Login button in the upper right corner of the Discord home page

Step 6. Log into your Discord account
Enter your email address and password and click "Login".

Step 7. Select a server on the left sidebar
Chats are listed on the left side of the screen. Select the server you want to edit.

Step 8. Tap the icon

next to the server name.
The server name is shown in the upper left corner of the page. This button will display a dropdown menu.

Step 9. Tap Server Settings from the drop down menu
The Browse menu will open on a new page.

Step 10. Tap the Emoji tab in the menu on the left
Tap this option on the left side of the page to open the Server Emoji page.

Step 11. Tap the blue Download emoji button on the right side of the page
A pop-up menu will open a list of available download methods.

Step 12. Tap Documents or Gallery.
This will allow you to select and download an image from Android and use it as an emoji in chat.
Instead, you can select Camera and take a new photo

Step 13. Upload the image you want to use
Browse through the files and select the image you want to use as an emoji to download it.
Once the file is uploaded, it will appear in the emoji list on the Emoji Server page

Step 14. Change the name of the emoji
Tap the Title field next to the uploaded image on the Server Emoji page and enter a short title to use emoji in chats.
For example, if you change the title to: example:, entering the phrase: example: will add emoji to the conversation

Step 15. Check out the new emoji in chat
Open any chat on this server, enter the name of your emoji and send it as a message. The emoji should appear in the chat.
