This article will show you how to edit Memories saved in the Snapchat app. Memories are snapshots or Snaps that have been saved to your Snapchat account.
Steps

Step 1. Launch Snapchat
Download the latest version of the Snapchat app as the Memories feature is not available in earlier versions. If you have an iPhone, you can download the app from the App Store. If you have an operating system based on Android - from the Play Store.

Step 2. Go to the camera screen
If you're on the Messages or Stories screen, tap the circle at the bottom of the app screen to switch to the Snapchat camera.

Step 3. Click on the Memories button
This icon is located under the shutter button on the camera screen.

Step 4. Click on SNAP or FILM
You can edit both your Snaps and any photos saved on your device.

Step 5. Click on "Snap" or the photo you want to edit

Step 6. Click the Edit and Submit button located at the bottom of the screen
A set of editing tools will open.

Step 7. Click the Edit button
It looks like a pencil.

Step 8. Click on the brush to apply the selected effect
A new menu will open where you can choose from a wide variety of popular artistic effects. Select the effect you would like to apply to your image.

Step 9. Click on the scissors to make your own sticker
By clicking on this button, you can select a fragment of the photo and make a sticker out of it. Then this sticker can be inserted into any other Snap:
- Select the desired item by tracing it with your finger.
- Click on it and drag the new sticker to any other place in the photo.
- Click on the Stickers button to view your saved stickers.

Step 10. Click on the sticker button to insert it
You can insert an unlimited number of stickers. To view the different stickers, click on the categories at the bottom of the menu.
- Click on the sticker and drag it to the location you want.
- Zoom in or out on the sticker by sliding your fingers in or out.
- Unfold the sticker by holding your fingers and twisting.

Step 11. Click on the text button if you want to write something
A field appears in the center of the screen in which you can type text. By clicking the text button again, you can increase the size of the text. Click on the text box and drag it to the desired location.

Step 12. Click on the pencil button to draw on the picture
You can draw on a photo with your finger. Select the color you want to paint with by moving the slider in the upper right corner.

Step 13. Click on the timer to change the "Snap" time delay
By default, the timer on still images is set to three seconds. During this time, the recipient can see the Snap. By pressing the timer, you can increase the exposure time up to 10 seconds. The timer does not work when the video is turned on. The video is available for viewing throughout its entire length.

Step 14. Click on the Share button to share the Snap
This button looks like a box with an upward pointing arrow. You can share the image on social networks or other messaging applications. This will open the Share menu, where you can select the application you would like to use.

Step 15. Click on the Send button to share the Snap via Snapchat
The snap will be sent and the recipient will be able to view it until it disappears. In addition, it will be saved in the "Memories" section.

Step 16. Click the Finish button to finish editing
Select "Save Changes" or "Discard Changes" depending on whether you want to apply these changes to the photo or not. The snapshot with the saved changes will be added to the "Memories" section.
