This article will show you how to log into the Telegram web client using your internet browser and phone number. After you verify your phone number and log into your account, you can use Telegram Web to communicate with contacts from your phone, as well as continue existing conversations on your computer.
Steps
Step 1. Open the Telegram Web page
Type https://web.telegram.org into your browser address bar and press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return on your keyboard.
You will automatically be taken to the account login page
Step 2. Click on the Country field
The screen will display a list of available countries and their international dialing codes.
Step 3. Select your country from the list that appears
Find your country in the list and click on it. The country code will be automatically added to the account login form.
Step 4. Enter your phone number in the “Phone number” field
Click on the "Phone number" field and enter your registered phone number.
Make sure the country code is correct in the “Code” field
Step 5. Click Next at the top right of the page
It's a white button in the upper-right corner of your account login form.
In the window that appears, you will be asked to confirm your phone number
Step 6. Click OK on the confirmation prompt
Make sure to enter the correct phone number and press OK, to continue.
After that, a unique key for your account will be generated, and a text message with a confirmation code will be sent to your phone
Step 7. Look for the message with the access code
Go to the message from Telegram and find the five-digit verification code.
If the Telegram application is installed on the phone, the message with the access code will also come to the application
Step 8. Enter the code on the website
Click on the "Enter your code" text box on the desktop version of Telegram and enter the five-digit code.
The site will automatically check your code, after which you will find yourself on the messages page
Step 9. Start using Telegram Web in your computer browser
After entering the code, you will be automatically logged into your account. Start messaging with your contacts.
Advice
- To log out of your Telegram Web account, click on the icon with three lines " ☰"in the upper left corner of the screen, select Settings (Settings) and then click Log out (Exit) at the bottom.
