If you prefer to use the Opera browser, we will show you how to install Opera 11 on the Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot operating system. This must be done through the terminal.
Steps

Step 1. To add an Opera key, press Ctrl + Alt + T to open a terminal
When a terminal window opens, enter the command: sudo sh -c ‘wget -O -http://deb.opera.com/archive.key | apt-key add - 'and press Enter.

Step 2. Enter your password and press Enter

Step 3. Now enter the following command in the new window
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list.d/opera.list and press Enter.

Step 4. When a new window opens, copy this command to the list opera
deb http://deb.opera.com/opera/ stable non-free then save the line and close the window.

Step 5. After that, enter the following command in the terminal to update the system
sudo apt-get update and press Enter.

Step 6. To install Opera, enter the following command
sudo apt-get install opera and press Enter.

Step 7. In the next window, press the Y key in the terminal and press Enter

Step 8. After installing the browser, close the terminal

Step 9. To start the Opera browser, press the window key, in the window that appears, enter op, click on the Opera icon

Step 10. You can read the license terms and then click the I Agree button to continue
