In this article, we will show you how to enable the touchscreen on a Windows laptop using Device Manager.
Steps

Step 1. Open Device Manager
In it, you can turn on and off any equipment that is connected to the laptop.
- Open the Start menu or click the magnifying glass icon to open the search bar.
- Enter Device Manager.
- Click "Device Manager" in the search results.

Step 2. Click the icon

at the category HID (Human Interface Devices) devices.
A list of devices in that category will be displayed.

Step 3. Click on the HID-Compliant Touchscreen
This device is in the expanded category "HID Devices (Human Interface Devices)".

Step 4. Click Action
It's in the upper-left corner of the Device Manager window. A menu will open.

Step 5. Select Enable from the Action menu
The laptop touchscreen will be enabled.
