Step 1. Select the appropriate program or application
Although some computers have a function to check the internal temperature, it is usually necessary to install a special program to obtain this information. There are many different free and low-cost apps to choose from.

Step 2. Download the program

Step 3. Install the application
When the dialog box appears, click on the "Install" button to start installing the application. If the dialog box does not appear, find the folder with the downloaded installation file and run it. If you are unsure of which settings to select, leave the default settings.
Step 4. Run the program
When the program is installed, you just have to click on it and run. A window should appear on the screen with an indicator of the internal temperature of the laptop. In some applications, you can also see the maximum possible temperature of the laptop and even turn on an alert if the laptop gets too hot.
- The maximum laptop temperature should generally not exceed 100 ° C. But you should still consult the instructions and check the maximum allowable temperature of your device.

Method 2 of 2: How to prevent overheating
Step 1. Switch to the "active" cooling method
