Many programs today take up too much memory while running, which is a nightmare for low-RAM systems. To avoid this, make your flash drive the size of RAM, which will make your system faster. To find out how to do this, follow the steps below.
Steps

Step 1. Insert your USB stick
Let your PC recognize it. Be sure to remove all information from it first (Minimum 2 GB)

Step 2. Right click on My Computer
- Click on Properties from the context menu.

Step 3. Click on the Advanced tab

Step 4. Click on Settings under Performance

Step 5. Click on the Advanced tab

Step 6. Click on the Change button under Virtual memory

Step 7. Select your USB drive

Step 8. Check the Custom size checkbox and set the following values
- Initial Size: 1020
- Maximum size: 1020
- The size depends on the amount of free memory on your flash drive. Thus, you can change this limit according to the size of your flash drive.

Step 9. Click on the Set button, then click OK

Step 10. Now you need to restart your computer with the USB flash drive inserted
The speed of your computer will be increased.
Advice
- If you are using Windows 7. Start with steps 1 and 2, but then a separate window will appear. Just click on "Advanced system settings" in the sidebar and continue with the steps.
- You must be logged in as an Administrator to do this.
