In this article, we'll show you how to turn off Caps Lock mode on a Windows or Mac OS X computer, in which you enter uppercase (uppercase) letters from the keyboard. To do this, you just need to press the "Caps Lock" key, but if it does not work, you will have to repair it. You can also deactivate Caps Lock completely if you don't need it.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: How to Disable Caps Lock

Step 1. Press the Caps Lock key again
If you have turned on Caps Lock by intentionally or accidentally pressing the Caps Lock key, press the key again to turn off Caps Lock.
Often times, users accidentally hit the Caps Lock key because it is next to the ⇧ Shift and Tab keys. If this annoys you, consider disabling the specified key completely. This can be done on a Windows computer and Mac OS X

Step 2. Clean the key if it is stuck
If the Caps Lock key is stuck down, clean it with compressed air or wipe it gently with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
Be careful: Damaging the key could void your laptop's warranty

Step 3. Restart your computer
Sometimes this is enough to turn off the Caps Lock mode (if the key of the same name is stuck). For this:
- Windows - open the start menu
-
Windowsstart and click "Shutdown"
Windowspower > Restart.
- Mac - open the Apple menu
-
Macapple1 and click Restart> Restart.
