Have you ever run into an issue where when you try to delete a document from the Print Manager, the document is marked as being deleted, but it is not actually deleted? If so, then read this article.
Steps

Step 1. Turn off the printer
This can lead to the deletion of the "unrecoverable" document.

Step 2. Make sure the cables between the printer and the computer are connected correctly

Step 3. Right click on the Computer icon

Step 4. Select "Manage" from the menu

Step 5. Access the Computer Management Snapin Launcher (Windows Vista or newer)

Step 6. Find the "Services and Applications" entry in the right pane

Step 7. Double click on "Services and Applications"

Step 8. Double click on "Services"

Step 9. Scroll down the list of services and find the "Print Spooler" service
Right-click on it.

Step 10. Select "Properties" from the menu

Step 11. Find and click the "Stop" button
Wait for the service to stop.

Step 12. Click "Start" - "Run" (or press Windows + R), enter the following path to the folder and press Enter
- C: \ Windows \ System32 \ Spool \ Printers

Step 13. Delete all contents of this folder

Step 14. Close the folder

Step 15. Restart the Printer Spooler service from the Print Spooler Properties window

Step 16. Click OK

Step 17. Close the Computer Management window

Step 18. Turn on the printer

Step 19. Send your document to print to make sure everything works
Advice
- The described method also works on operating systems older than Windows Vista (for example, Windows XP or 2000); only instead of "Computer" click "My computer".
- After you have stopped the Print Spooler service, leave this window open. It will remind you to start this service.
