VoiceOver is a feature in Mac OS X that speaks text and helps visually impaired users perform actions. You can control VoiceOver from the Accessibility submenu of the System Preferences menu.

Method 1 of 2: How to turn off VoiceOver on Mac OS X

Step 1. Open the Apple menu and choose System Preferences
The System Preferences window will open.

Step 2. Click "Accessibility" in the "System" section

Step 3. Click the View tab, and then move the slider beside VoiceOver to the Off position
This will turn off VoiceOver.
You can also press Command + FN + F5 to turn VoiceOver on or off
Method 2 of 2: How to turn off VoiceOver in iOS

Step 1. Press the Home button three times
The iOS device displays “VoiceOver Disabled,” which is how you disable VoiceOver.
