In this article, we are going to show you how to display battery level (percentage) on Macbook. To do this, in the laptop settings, you need to activate the display of the battery status, and then turn on the display of percentages.
Steps
Step 1. Click on
This icon is in the upper left corner of the screen. The Apple menu opens.
Step 2. Click System Preferences
This is the second option on the menu.
Step 3. Click on Power Saving
This option is marked with a light bulb and is in the second row of options.
Step 4. Check the box next to "Show battery status in menu bar"
You will find this option in the lower left corner. The battery icon appears in the upper right corner (in the menu bar). If your MacBook is plugged into an electrical outlet, a lightning bolt appears on this icon.
Step 5. Click on the battery icon
You will find it in the menu bar at the top of the screen. A menu will open.
Step 6. Click Show Percentages
It's at the bottom of the menu. A number and a percent symbol appear to the left of the battery icon. A check mark will appear next to the "Show Percentage" option in the menu.
